I just finished a move with these guys. It was a move across state lines to Illinois. The movers were hard working and the company contacts were professional. Got no damage, everything was protected so good.

A week ago Alex from Midamerican sent me free estimate for my move. I agreed for that price. Movers crew came September 22nd, we signed all documents and they started to wrap my stuff. Everything was pretty fast, but careful. Dan the foreman was so professional and he let me rest while they were working. They moved me in 2 days to NY. Today I finished checking all my stuff and everything is in a great condition. Will recommend this business!

I highly recommend MidAmerican! I had recently moved here, and needed help unloading my POD, all the heavy furniture. I had tried several companies, and left several messages. This company is the only one that returned my message and set up time to help me out the same day. The guys were very kind and handled my furniture with care. I seriously, can't thank them enough for saving the day! My POD was going to be picked up the following morning . I will certainly use MidAmerican again.

Guy's was very careful with all my furniture and belongings and extremely efficient!
The crew worked as a team and quickly relocated my household items from my old home to my new one and at such a reasonable final cost.
They labeled everything, including which drawers items were taken from so unpacking was a breeze.I have recommended them to many friends and relatives and all of them have had great experiences!
So basically let's breakdown in a few words : These Guys Are Real Pros! They did a fantastic job

This company was completely extremely late past the guaranteed delivery date and unresponsive during my entire move to the point I was convinced they had stolen all of my belongings.
On pickup I was told I had more items than originally quoted and that this would add a cost no more than $1000, myself and the pickup driver agreed and he loaded my items. When he shut his doors and went to leave he gave me a total bill for an additional $4300, when I questioned him that there is no way this was accurate all he told me was "call customer service there's nothing I can do." Because they did a fantastic job
I got a free quote from different companies.
Started to look for reviews for all those companies, but this company looked so good, so we decided to move with them. And we never regretted!
They wrapped all my stuff so good and with care(you can see it on pics)
All wrapping pads were new and clean ( my friend was moving one time and his white sofa was dirty because of bad blankets)

That was my first time moving in 7 years, was expecting some stressful experience, as it always is. However, after two weeks of packing I got my estimate from a girl in the office , agreed on a pickup "window". Pickup went flawlessly, crew looked clean and professional. They even agreed to use the stairs when elevator broke down on us! Was moving from East NY to Philly, PA. Next morning, their truck was already on my driveway, delivery literally took them less than 3 hours, while pickup was about twice longer! Had a pretty good experience with these guys. My mom needed to move, so I had to find a good company. Wasn't moving too far, from Miami to Atlanta. She had a lot of stuff and I was scared of getting some crazy overcharged price at the end of the day, after watching all these YouTube videos about how moving companies scam people. Called them three days before the move date, got the estimate and arriving time of movers. Surprisingly, three guys came right on time with a lot off supply with them. Walked around the house, looked at the stuff and told me it's gonna take them around 5 hours

Do not use this company...it is not worth the hassle, lies, mediocre service and disrespectful attitudes. Use a reputable company which will end up costing much less or even just doing it yourself versus using this company.
My recent move was a nightmare. They estimated an equivalent size for 13,000 lbs at just under $10K. Upon arrival and loading 2/3 of my belongings, they demanded an additional $5K...basically 150% of estimate. The final weight was near 9,000 lbs.
It was full service packing, but the foreman Nick refused to condense and pack my plastic totes for which they destroyed

We moved from SD to CT in June 2019.
This is the worst Moving Company Ever! They don't reply to your emails unless you call them 20 times.
They were 7-8 days late for delivery.
They over charged me. Estimate vs the actual cost has a huge difference.
They lost Coffee table glass and and I had to call them many times to follow-up.
Finally they found my glass but now they are not responding to my calls or emails and ignoring me.
Save yourself time, stress, and money and choose another moving company!!!!!!!!

Me and my family moved from Des Moines, IOWA to Lansing, Michigan. In less than a day, the guys delivered our things safe and sound. We spent one night in the hotel, and the next day dispatcher Alex informed us that everything was ready so we moved into a new house with all furniture placed inside.
The first experience of a big move for us. And it was really good!
Nice job Midamerican, sorry guys can't give you 5star cause it costed us more than it was expected and there was couple things damaged.

They don't even deserve one star. Do not hire this company. They estimated $3000 for my stuff and they charged me $5300. The driver threatened to leave to our stuff on driveway if we don't pay extra $300 for refrigerator which was included in the estimate. They didn't deliver our stuff on day we requested even though we notified them it has my one year old daughter's medical supply. They have changed the delivery date 3 times. I am still waiting for my stuff to be delivered.

They will provide an estimate, then completely change the price, lie about the cubic feet (they are trying to claim we had 1,600 cubic feet which they magically fit into a 20 foot truck with a 1,015 cubic ft max capacity) and if you ask any questions, they only respond with threats to keep your belongings.
