After a year of having a gravel driveway pretty much completely reclaimed by nature, we decided to do something about it. We called up Ned for a quote and it was clear he was an expert. He not only measured the space,
but also planned drainage, how much gravel to remove, and also discussed aesthetic choices we could make. Then when it was time to actually pave the driveway, he and his team delivered a beautiful driveway that crushed expectations.

It was time to ditch our pebble driveway and upgrade to asphalt - best decision ever. Ned and his team were wonderful to work with and we are very thankful for the superior job they did laying down our new asphalt driveway. Ned was very responsive when we reached out and came to survey our property the very next day. He walked us through the process, answered all of our questions, and delivered the quote in a timely manor. After reviewing a few other quotes (similar in price), we chose Meehan Paving & Sealing and very happy we did. We love our new driveway!

I would say this company is not the most forthcoming in regards to pricing. Pricing seems to change depending on the affluence of the neighborhood and not due to the scope of work. I requested a quote for a very basic job that requires no special arrangements or effort but somehow he (Mr. Meehan) managed to increase the pricing 50% more than our initial discussion without any real justification. There seems to be a dishonest epidemic if your home is in a particular zip code. Not sure about the quality of the work but I would suggest you verify square footage as well as to do significant research

The response you provided is utter garbage and a simple ploy to save face for an act that could be considered criminal at minimum. How do you explain the exaggerated square footage in your quote. You over quoted the square footage by over 300 sqft. That is not an honest mistake because the measurement doesn't change and still today the same. How do you explain a quote as according to you an industry standard price of $2.50-$2.75 per square foot for installing an asphalt driveway with 4" of base material and 3" of asphalt. These are your language. What are you doing differently that

Ned did a fantastic job repaving our driveway in North Stamford. Great quality and value. He was the most competitive of all the contractors we contacted and the quality of work was excellent overall. He was responsive to our concerns regarding water staying in one area of the driveway after it was repaved, so he returned and corrected the issue FREE of charge.

Working with contractors typically makes me glad that Prohibition no longer exists. Ned is fantastic. If you want to avoid shopping around - just call him. I typically don't write (or even trust) reviews. But I was so completely satisfied with Ned - the quality of the work - and his crew, that I wanted to endorse and promote his company. I found Meehan Paving by a simple google search and called about 5 companies. Two never even called me back and of the other 3, Ned Meehan was the most prompt and responded asap with regard to a phone call, email and a site visit for an estimate.

I'm always so skeptical to call contractors for house work, but am so happy I ended up finding Meehan Paving. I called to request a quote and Ned was able to have one for me that same week. In April 2014, I added about 135 sqft to my existing driveway. Ned was at my house the same day I called and he provided a fair estimate. He scheduled the work on a Friday morning , and his experienced team was at my house by 8:15AM. His men used a masonry saw to cut the edges of the existing driveway to make the new work a clean finish and added to the overall quality. Afterwards, Ned inspected the work with me to confirm the job met my expectations. I recommend that you consider Meehan Paving and Sealing if installing, replacing or just repairing your existing driveway. Ned runs a good
