Quality Windows, Inc. has become one of the largest window and door companies in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. We are family owned and operated since 1980. Erick Karlsen is the current owner. Quality Windows & Doors was a small two-man operation in the beginning established by Tom Green. Erick Karlsen began working for Quality Windows & Doors in 1985.

Many of our windows are designed to meet ENERGY STAR(R) qualifications. Additionally we consider many factors when determining the right windows for your home (geographic location, home design and site orientation, to name a few). We then tailor the components of your energy-efficient windows (glass coating, frame design, spacers and gas fill) to produce a window ideally suited for your home.
Your windows will be installed within 4-8 weeks from the date of the final measurement. The installation time varies based on the type of window being installed and the type being removed. Normally it takes about 30 minutes per window. Trims and other work will require additional time to complete. A job is typically completed in a single day.

We ordered two Milgard windows for our new nursery, the team came at 8:30am and had them down within the hour!

I have NEVER had a worse experience working with a service provider than I have this one. Total communication breakdown between sales and installers, poorer than poor customer service, LACK of actual service, missing ordered products... the list goes on and on and, seriously, on. I can’t NOT recommend a service more. Please, please do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this company for screen doors and/or window installation/repair. Try literally any other screen/window company in Santa Barbara. I guarantee it will be a much better experience, at a much better price.

I am finally writing a review after three years of dealing with this shotty door/install. I have had quality windows out and they claim that the problem is with the Milgard product. Milgard has been out 4 or 5 times and attempted to fix the problem by placing a "band aid" on it. I had a new Milgard vendor out this week to give a quote for all new windows now. He looked at the door and said he believes it to be an install issue. There is standing water on the inside track of the door that does not drain out. It used to be water coming into the house but they put a heavy duty weather stripping to

Quality Windows was the third window vendor we had give us an estimate. We chose them because they patiently answered all our questions about our window options. In addition, it was so helpful that they have actual window samples in their showroom and even brought a sample window to our home, so we could better envision the new windows. Their pricing was comparable to the other vendors. The installation was surprisingly fast and the installers were professional and courteous.
