My Brother Justin and I opened the doors at Two Brothers Painting in 2006 and are both very passionate about quality work and in development lasting relationships. Have spent 12 years in the Painting Industry and approximately 8 years previously in other trades. Raised in Wakefield, I am a Mechanical Engineering degree from URI, an avid camper, outdoorsman, reader and always been into almost any sport or challenge.
Advanced painters have mastered the basic skills, can work independently as needed, and promote the values of the company. Employees who come to Two Brothers Painting with painting experience may not need to go through our apprentice program. Instead, they will be evaluated by a skill assessment, along with our introductory employment period.

Two Brothers took care of everything in a very professional manner. Starting with the carpenters that did up front repairs to the team that did the painting. Especially important to me was that the foreman (Andrew) as on-site the entire time. He made sure that the quality we were looking for was carried out each and every day.... and it was.

5 stars for the work, 3 stars for the business. I think this company has grown too quickly and taken on too much. The communication was occasionally difficult. I was told the painters would arrive Monday at 8:30, but when they didn't (and I needed to go to work) it took several hours to get information from the office. The person who visited to write up the quote went through everything I wanted with me, but forgot to write down one item, so in the final job the office billed extra for that. Financially this was not a big item, but the person doing the quote recommended it and told me it was included

We were extremely happy with Two Brothers. They gave us a lot of information and prior notice of the timing and logistics. They did great prep work on our 35 year old house - they took care of problem spots very efficiently. This was a complex job with lots of prep work and color choices and it came out better than new.

How often do you sincerely feel that 5 stars isn't a high enough review to give a contractor? In this case, it's true. We called Two Brothers to get a quote on painting a bedroom (including a loft, etc). Because of professionalism and thoroughness of the quote, we asked for another to spray-wash our cedar tiles and paint the trim on the exterior. Every single day they were here we could not stop talking about 1/ what an incredible job they were doing, 2/ how tidy and respectful of our property they were and 3/ what great pride they took in everything they did. Two Brothers painted most of the interior of our house recently. They did a beautiful job and the painters were great guys. Their attention to detail and neat work paid off.
With two small children (not to mention the dogs and cats), we really appreciated that they went out of their way to avoid inconveniencing us as much as possible. I expected to be tripping over ladders and paint cans for days, but instead they tried their best to put everything back where it needed to be each day and their own stuff out of the way.

There are many great things I can say about my experience with this local company, I had several rooms in my home painted since I had originally tried myself and failed. Cant thank the 2 painters enough for their hard work and friendly service, they took everything I consulted with them about and transformed my rooms into what I was dreaming of. I also have a few friends that have used them since and were also very impressed , and plan on using them in the summer for the exterior of their homes along with the power washing of their decks. Highly recommend them and their professional services.

We met Dan after getting quotes from two other painting companies. We hired Two Brothers because they were available sooner and Dan seemed to be an honest guy. It was an interior painting job, and it took longer than they expected, but they stayed to complete it. Dan checked in a few times, but generally the head painter was good about communicating with me and getting the work done. Overall, the painters were polite, professional, and friendly. They did a great job, and I would recommend them to others.

Stay away from this company. They sub out work to unqualified people without supervising the work. Caused more damage to our home than cost of contract.
painted the entire home with latex paint on top of oil base paint without any priming preparation. All the paint just peeled right off. The owner, Dan, says this is acceptable to him. RI Contracctors Board had to be engaged to resolve the issue of damages. Will advise the outcome by the end oif this month.
