Do not trust 5 stars reviews!!! Big damage to my roof!!! They agreed void the original contract and loan, and install the panels without drilling the hole on the roof, also have accessible path so that I can clean the standing water underneath the solar panels after rain, as I filed small claim, but they never did. Now they put lien on my property causing my credit crashed. Never ever install the solar panel, it will cost more to repair your roof than save money from electricity bill.

I am not the type of person to give bad reviews. i understand that we all try our best to give and go the extra mile for our customers. communication is always the key. installation was great. but the time frame was off. had my panels installed but not connected due to the fire we had. Note it has been two years that I have had my system.... since my panels were installed i had my pg&e payment and my panels payments due. Don't deal with this company. they have very bad customer service. they don't know how to call you back. I bought a house with existing solar and took them over 5 days to figure out who to call me I wouldn't even want to think what will happen if I had an issue with my solar. they never did on boarding with me when I asked serval times via email to have someone call me. They just don't know what they are doing at all.

Lack of Performance both service and installed equipment
I know we are in a pandemic, and I have considered that in my expectations.
Over the past several months, we have both called and emailed with issues with our solar system, which was installed in December of 2019.
In August of last year, our system did not seem to be working. We called customer care at Nexus Solar. About 10 days later, two guys came to assess the problem. Little did we know (they did not communicate) that they had actually taken the system down. We had no idea when someone would return to resolve the issue. On September

While John and Emily helped us to come up with a great solar plan to save us money for long run, the service and installation team also delivers and kept their promise! Linda follows up with us throughout the whole process, and the installation team helped us to overcome multiple challenges from the county inspector! I was referred to Neil Wenderoth at Nexus Energy Systems by one of his former employers. I have an unusual configuration of solar panels, and was looking for battery backup. Neil was really helpful, and after determining that they couldn't help me right now, he gave me some names of folks who maybe could. 5 stars for Neil for going the extra mile, and I will definitely put Nexus at the top of my list for future projects!

Got screwed. I was told repeatedly that the solar loan would be transferable if we sold the house. That the solar panels would be a big value add to the house. Neither were true. Now I am trying to sell and have to pay off the entire loan first. The house isn't worth any more than other similar homes without solar. When I call they say, "Oh we have nothing to do with the loan." The loan company says, "Oh you should have set this up with the solar company." Now I'm left with a 30K bill to pay.

I cannot say enough good things about this company, not only were they true to their word (and I mean on everything they said), their customer service is off the charts - they took care of everything, made sure not to disturb us if unnecessary and worked with us on schedule and time. Installation took only one day to install the panels and another day for the electrical connection (total 2 days) and the installation is clean and professional.
To me, the most important was the question of numbers ($) to see if it was worth it. The quick answer is yes.

We had been considering solar for quite a while and finally decided to take the leap. We went with Bay Sun Solar because of their excellent reviews, warranty and the fact that the company has been in business for so long. The installers were on time, friendly and efficient. They did accidentally damage a screen on one of our windows but had it replaced and back to new within a couple hours. We are excited to now be producing our own power! We would definitely recommend Bay Sun Solar for your solar project!

I had an offer to have my system installed by another provider in about 1.5 weeks for the same price as Nexus Energy Systems. I decided that it might be worth the wait to have an installer that's been around for decades instead of only a few years do the project. They installed about 3.5 weeks after I signed and I'm so glad I was a little more patient - from their professionalism during my site visit to the clean install and job site, I am very pleased that I went with Nexus.

Just bought our house a year ago and was referred to Nexus energy systems by a friend. I talked to Rosemary and she walked me through everything. She was very thorough and was prompt to answer any questions I had. She was extremely knowledgeable and very sweet!! I didn't feel overwhelmed or pressured in anyway and by the end of our call I had an appointment set up for installation. They service team came out and installed everything in a timely manner and they were all so professional! These guys are professionals, one day install for my house. The second day was the inspection and communication was great throughout the entire process, plus I was already generating power that I was consuming on the first day... an added bonus was the fact that these panels are all black, so they have a nice sleek look on the roof vs those blue panels.

Really fast and clean installations. They were on time. Only had the system go “Live” for about a day and so far so good. I did wish that someone would have follow up sooner with me to make sure the system was turned on. I turned it one myself which was not a big deal at all. But Nexus responded quickly afterwards. So far I would recommend Nexus for Solar install. They did make it super easy. Also their loans were the lowest.

Very happy with the service of replacing my roof and installation of the solar system. Jacob and Rose stayed in contact with me through the entire process. Payments for both the roof and solar system are lower than my electric bill. I choose to go with Nexus because I needed to do both projects but didn't want to deal with multiple companies. Got both projects done with one company, same warranty and I'm in direct contact with my representative.

Well we finally decided to go solar after talking about it for a couple months and didn't know which direction to go in. Of course I called around to a bunch of companies and it was all the same sales pitch. Just when I was about to give up, I came across this local company. The Nexus Energy Systems team (sales, project management, installers, management) are fabulous! We've had great experiences with them, they go above and beyond. They installed our system about a year ago, and when we got our electric car we had them come back and upgraded our system to give us extra capacity. SO last week after 5 years in FOB plastic remote key button breaks So i am upgrading to new pulse option. Today NOTE .Only fee was activation 25 for upgrade got pulse w/ camera seems to work ok.on first day. 4 year old LG. Uses their ap. very neat.only downside 50.00 to correct mislabeled room they describe label without client input.
