I am very pleased with the work these guys do. Honestly, if you are looking for good quality glass repair then these guys are the ones you need to get the job done. On top of their top tier quality in service they have reasonable prices. I 100% recommend this company ! Very satisfied with my windows! I can honestly say these guys do a wonderful job. Not only their great customer service but also amazing prices. As with MANY yelpers, I wish I could give a zero or a "negative" star review. I had an appointment with "miguel" for 9/23/2020 at my house. I waited over a 1/2 hr. No show, no phone call. No nothing. He insisted that we meet after 1, so the appointment was set for 1:30 - again, not even a courtesy call. This "miguel" is not reliable and don't know if he is the owner, but I would NOT recommend this co. Seems so shady. There are MANY other window repair companies, and I now have a firm that is SOLID - timely showed up this AM - we are at my house - and they are

Little order gone bad.
i ordered 4 glass shelves for the shower. It started out nice, with professional advise to get tempered glazing recommendation. Price offered was very reasonable.
When 4 glass shelves were ready for pick up it appeared that the glazing was not tempered as promised it said "annnealed" on the sticker. I was told that annealed is the same as tempered. What is incorrect. Then it appeared that one shelf was not matching template size. I paid, but i told them that i have to check if the not matching shelf size. Unfortunately i could not fit it and came back to shop. From there

We changed our windows from our house, that is standing on the hill.
It was our first time changing the windows and we are so happy we picked A1 Bay Area Glass.
Starting with the first appointment, where they helped us pick the Windows that would fit our needs and finishing with the last details everything was on time as described.

Hate to leave such a terrible review, but I don't know this company's issue is. We got our shower door replaced a few weeks back, which took maybe 2-3 appointments to get done, because they would not show up as promised. After the installation, there was a leak in the door, and was leaking all over my carpet. We have been trying to get this fixed, with the same issue of us making an appointment, and them not showing up, then making a new appointment. I am writing this review after the 10th bailed appointment, with our issue still unfixed and my carpet developing mold. The unprofessionalism is insane

This review is long overdue. They did all 3 of my glass showers and because they did such a good job, I had them do my glass railings too. Believe me, I've shopped at more than 5 different glass companies, and no one could beat their price. The work was completed in 2016, and I have (knock-on wood) had no issues with any of their glass. I highly recommend Miguel and his son for the work they do.

This has to the worst service possible.... I had this company come out nearly a month ago to rescreen all of my external screens and replace one screen and replace one window that the neighbor kids had decided that the football was going to try to go through. The owner said it would take about two weeks since he had to order the glass special as it was a dual-pane with a cross bar in between the panes. After 3 weeks without a call I called to see what was the status on getting my screens back and replacing my window and he had said oh he will get right out there the end of the week lie number

If there is a zero star, I will choose it. I got the mirror installed about 2.5 months ago, the quality is so poor. The dots started to appeared from the back side of mirror. It's not only the quality is poor, the service is horrible. I called Miguel last week, he told me to call this Tuesday to set up an appointment for that Thursday or Friday. I called, Miguel told me to wait for him Friday form 8-noon. I called again Friday 8:30AM to ask him when he planned to come over, he told me 1-3PM. I live in an apartment complex and he was able to come out within a few hours which was convenient due to the holidays approaching. I had rescently needed my bathroom fully remodeled due to its time for a new look, so i went with a frameless shower. I been looking around and calling a few places but none met my standard and price ranges i got were way too high for my budget. My wife and I were away in the UK on business last week when I received an email from my landscaper that the glass to one of my back doors was shattered. I was lucky that no one broke into my home, and it is still a mystery how the glass was broken. I thought being 6,000 miles away from home would be a challenge, however I found A1 Bay Area Glass by reviewing Yelp and I called them. Had my restaurant broken into and needed the glass door replaced ASAP. I called A-1 and they arrived when they said they would and they replaced the window (that is the full length of my door) quickly and without disturbing my customers. They even cleaned the extra glass shards for me which was very nice. Easy communication and great price!

I had bought a console table from Z-gallerie and wanted a piece of glass for it. I called around and found them to be the most reasonably priced. They also were able to get the glass ready the quickest. When the glass was ready, i called the number and spoke to a guy and he said meet me there in 20 minutes. I showed up and he was already there and loaded the glass in my car and I was on my way. I will definitely refer more people to this place. I've paid twice for things in the past. Good find!

I had shopped around for my office mini-remodel and A1 Bay Area Glass was very responsive and the lowest price. They worked with me on the price and I had my 45 glass shelves done in 3 days and they were exactly what we wanted. While they were delivering the shelves I decided to ask them about installing some mirrors in the back part of my unit and they quoted a pretty good price and said they could do it the next day. Today, they got here promptly at the time they said and they did everything in 1 hour. My office looks great!

Miguel installed the frameless shower at my place via a contractor, Edgar. Firstly, he got the measurements wrong. Nevertheless, he came back and installed it. Few issues:
1. Given the tiled walls are not perfectly straight, he did not accomodate for it in the measurements of the glass panels. Instead, he used clear silicone to fill the gaps. Not too bad considering it was towards the bottom of the glass panels
2. The plastic piping on the door to prevent water from seeping out was not done well. He left a quarter of an inch gap towards the end. This caused some water to drip out if you take a

If I could give negative stars I would! This is the WORST service I have ever received. So I call and make an appointment on 12/2 for 10:30AM on 12/7. I call Friday afternoon to confirm my appointment....confirmed. I get an email Friday night that they have an emergency and have to cancel my appointment. Ok...emergencies are understandable. Initial service was great but slow to respond to followup repair.
Miguel came out the day I called to provide an estimate (replace window balances for 10 windows); parts where ordered and the windows repaired within a week.
After a couple of weeks one of the window balances had broken; I called Miguel with the expectation that he'd be out immediately. He said he wouldn't be working in my area until Saturday (5 days later) which was the day my tenants were moving in.
Miguel came out as scheduled to look at the window and determined he was going to have to order parts which would arrive

The guy was running a little late, got stuck in the city. I called and needed the window now! I am a Realtor and the house cleaner (while cleaning the window) cracked a small crack into a bigger one. VERY disappointed with A1 Bay Area Glass. They are unprofessional, unresponsive, and don't do what they say they are going to do.
I should have learned from my mistake on 11-29-12, when A1 promised to call one of my tenants to set up an appointment, while at the same time, telling me that they would have the repair done by a certain day. The tenant informed me that they never even got a call! After I found this out, I used another Glass Company that could come out and repair the following day. I never even got a call back from A1 Bay Area about the situation!
On another rental property
