11/2021 5* WOW! They are great here! Needed new glass in a window. Just brought it in, dropped it off and a few days later it was ready. Half the price of what I was quoted from others (who would not accept drop offs, only sending people to my home multiple times to do it). Lady inside is totally personable and helpful. They earned my business from now on!
I completely and totally recommend them to everyone. This is the way business should be done. The right way, and with care. Thanks to everyone there for taking care of our window. We really appreciate it!

There are only a few window repair companies in the city which will replace glass in a highrise. We live in a condo building right down the street from this business. Our building has used them many times. When I called, I set up an appointment for the next day. No one showed up... I tried calling and the number was disconnected. tried several times, then finally walked over to their business. "Oh, our phones are having problems." I was told. No answer as to why the tech didn't show up. They came the next day and took measurements and said he'd be back tomorrow. the next day

Ardmore Glass and Mirror came out to look at our patio doors after we got a quote from a high end window "factory direct" company that blew our socks off with a quote of $5,300.
Ardmore charges $250 for the visit whether or not they do anything, but if they can fix it, they don't charge anything extra. Long story short, they arrived on time, took the door apart, fixed it by replacing the wheels and locking mechanism for nothing extra. They were polite, prompt, and very professional.

No call, no show. 3 months ago or more, called them to make glass tops for 2 nightstands. Got the "bum's rush" and they wanted to come that day. They called me with an estimate and I said go ahead. No deposit needed--I asked. Weeks go by, I call to see when it will be ready. Acted as if they never heard of me. Then he found the estimate and said he'd get back to me with a date...that was a month ago. Don't bother with them.

Is this business open anymore? I have attempted to visit the store on 4 occasions during the week and within the store hours on the door and it is always closed. Attempted to visit on a recent Sat during the 12-5 PM store hours and the store was closed. Using the phone only repeats the business hours, but no one answers.

Needed a storefront glass panel replaced for my office on Clark in Andersonville. Had 3 estimates, each tried pressuring us into replace the whole storefront for over $3,000.
Ardmore came, recommended by a neighboring business.
They quoted, and did the job promptly, very competively priced and professionally.
It pays to support local business.

Used Ardmore for a mirror repair in my bathroom. The owners seemed rushed, unconcerned and uninterested. Was given a time frame for the technician to come over (10-2) and he showed up around 4. While here he measured quickly, was a little rude and left. Technicians returned the next day and found mirror was measured 1/2 inch too short. Called owner and asked for technicians to come back the next afternoon after 2. They showed up without calling at 9 AM and left bill on my counter. Glass shards on the bathroom floor had to be cleaned up by yours truly. At 5:30 the owner called and, in a quite surly

I called several places about my sliding closet door with a broken mirror, and Ardmore was one of only two to call me back, one of only two to provide an estimate, and the only one that committed to a repair rather than a costly replacement. They picked up my damaged door on the day and time they promised, estimated return in a week, and got it back to me the very next day! The two-person crew also examined another misaligned door for me and adjusted it at no additional charge. I'm thoroughly pleased.

I just kind of got the feeling they don't really care about your project or if they get your business. If they are doing that great, well good for them. I stopped in the tiny, crowded store front. Received very little greeting. After one quick measurement and no questions, was given a crazy quote. I needed 2 simple pieces of glass for table tops - maybe 12 x 15 inches. $38 each and would take 4 days. Politely told the woman that seemed really high. No explanation or offer - just a blank stare. Well, I went to Clark Devon and paid $40 total for both pieces and received them in a half

I have used these folks three times in the last two years since moving into the area as a condo owner. Their workmanship seems very good. They do fine custom work for many designers in the city.
I had them cut down two large mirrors into three specific sizes to fit wood frames. I required very accurate cuts and they were. They fit perfectly. The cost was modest to a bit high, but they were close by.
They also delivered the job in a timely job.
I also had them cut to size three thick glass shelves from existing larger glass shelves. Again they did a fine job. Cost again was more expensive, I would
