Born and raised in the College Park area of Orlando, Jason attended school at Princeton Elementary, Robert Lee Middle School and graduated from Edgewater High School in 1991. In 1993, while attending the University of Central Florida, Jason Started Jason's Lawn Care. After graduating in 1996 with a bachelor of arts, Jason made the decision to continue growing his landscape business.
Established in 1993, J.L.C. Outdoors has been providing Landscape Design, Install and Maintenance Solutions for the Greater Orlando area for over 24 years. Our landscape designers have over 40 years of combined experience in the industry providing eco-friendly and aesthetically pleasing landscape and hardscape designs to residents over the Orange and South Seminole County areas.

Absolutely unsatisfied with JLC. They would mow, edge and leave. They would only treat for weeds or trim
Bushes when I asked, even though I verified many times that they were supposed to be doing that consistently. The final straw was when they mowed my yard during the rain after it had been raining all day long. This is a photo of how they left my yard.

We used JLC to completely redesign our lawn. We specifically asked for plants and flowers that stay short. We spent over 12k with this company and only 6 months later the lawn looks terrible! It's not symmetrical, the flowers he recommended are 3 feet tall now. We have one of the ugliest lawns in the community. The agreement included a few points that he never delivered, like pouring concrete under the tiles in front of the door, and a follow up meeting to explain maintenance. Just go with another company, they are overpriced and the quality of the work is very low, and from our experience

This company is exceptional at billing and taking money, I have no doubt they are THE place you should go if you have several thousand dollars you'd like a company to take from you. However, if you want your yard taken care of, or hire them to do any other work like I did for my irrigation system, you may want to find a company which spends more time fulfilling their quotes/contracts and less time learning with expert precision how to send bills to their customers. Way too expensive and does not do 10% of what owner says he will do. NOTHING done in writing. Will not give invoices or quotes for weekly services.
After increase from $80 to $175 per month, Problems from JLC Outdoors with my Property:
(1) Dwarf Crapes (Red) not trimmed in 2 years
(2) Small palms and trees not trimmed (Cockroaches and ants into house) also blocking security flood lights
(3) Remove debris (leaves, small tree branches, etc.)
(4) I need monthly invoice to show me when and what you did. Not just deduct from my credit card.

We contacted JLC Outdoors to repair our sprinkler system. They were able to schedule the appointment fairly quickly (within a few days), the technician arrived on time (actually a little early) and did an awesome job. He was hard at work right away and was able to solve the problem quickly. He even went above and beyond checking on the remaining parts of the system to make sure it was working properly. Plus, the total cost came in below the estimate! So, all in all, I was very pleased with JLC.

We have used JLC twice (2 different properties) for some sod touch up. First house was St Augustine, second house is Zoysia. Both times the job was done very well and the crew does a great job closing the seams in the sod. The first job was three years ago and when we sold that house last year the area JLC installed (1600 sqft) was very lush and healthy. The most recent work was this week and JLC also replenished our beds with mulch. The crew was friendly and cleaned up completely when finished. AVOID this company. We used JLC for several years and saw their level of service steadily decline. Over the past three years we have seen employees mutilate plants which we had asked JLC never to touch, and employees fail to pick up debris in our yard, but simply move it aside to gain entrance to our back yard. JLC also failed to trim several large bushes, which they had agreed to trim when we first hired them. Ultimately we had to pay another service several hundred dollars to clean up the overgrown bushes. Additionally, we were cursed at on at least three occasions by JLC employees. We overheard
