Our founder and operator, Jamie Snell, makes his home in Bedford and has fallen in love with this community. In December of 2013, Jamie and his family tragically lost their historic home on the Bedford loop to a fire. In the following months, friends and strangers alike from the entire region surrounded the Snells with goodwill and support.
The level of care the Snells received from the community has further strengthened Jamie's commitment to not only do excellent work as a fence provider, but to use his skill in business and construction as a way to better the community to which he feels a debt of gratitude.

Snell Fence did an amazing job on our fence! We just recently moved and needed the fence for our dogs before moving in. Snell stood out for their responsiveness in returning calls, meeting us at the property for the estimate, keeping us informed of the date of service, and then getting the job done ahead of schedule at a competitive and fair price. We have had so many compliments on our fence and highly recommend Snell Fence!

I had Jamie & his son put up a new fence for me back in October of 2020 .... They did a great job .... They showed up in masks & were very professional & polite .... Jamie answered all of my questions & gave me a quote ... I accepted his quote & also called him back to fence both sides of my front yard as well ,since they did such a great job with my back yard that I decided to get more fencing !!!! Snell Fencing (Jamie) installed fencing in my yard 4-5 years ago and still looks as if installed yesterday! No problems until I bumped with my lawn tractor and broke two of the pickets! I called Jamie to see if he could take a look and possibly fix for me. Jamie came over, was able to fix the pickets and even better he did the repairs without charging me which I sooooo appreciate! Snell Fencing is professional, fair, prompt and they do an excellent job! Jamie will be doing my daughter and families fencing very soon! Obviously we are "happy" customers!

Where to start?! We are so very pleased with our new bronze aluminum fence - Jamie Snell did a FANTASTIC job! We recently purchased a home in Troutville and wanted to fence in part of our yard. After meeting with several contractors, we decided to use Snell Fence for several reasons, design, price, and confidence in Jamie Snell. The fence had to come off the back of our home, running along a paver patio. Other contractors told us they would have to drill into the pavers. Jamie came up with a much better solution, that not only looks better, but also didn't require drilling into the pavers which
