The name Anne Rae draws significance from my family roots. Anne is my middle name (my mother loved the European roots of the "e" at the end). Rae is my grandmother's middle name. My grandmother, Eletha Rae, was in my life for only a short time, but I have wonderful memories of her. When I started Anne Rae Design, I knew I wanted to have a name that had meaningful origins.
My grandmother's spirit was so infectious, I wanted it to be a part of the firm. Eletha Rae's personality and the love and care that surrounded her is the soul of Anne Rae Design. She was nicknamed "Babe" embodying how much fun she was and how much fun it was to be with her. She was full of life, love, and vitality.
Eletha Rae was also independent and a go-getter. She sought out a degree in interior design in her thirties (ambitious and uncommon at that time). Unfortunately, the school she attended did not offer the program but she charged on and found another profession to be passionate about, teaching, and was adored by her students and fellow staff.

We understand that building and renovation projects can be overwhelming, time consuming, and stressful. We believe every project is unique and we work very closely with our clients to relieve their stress and see their needs and vision come to fruition.
Mark and I just want to say "Thank You" for all your help! Our home is so cozy and fabulous! Who knew we would start 3 years ago with a little carpet installation and progress to where we are today! We love the inside paint colors you picked as well as the fabric on our new furnishings and window coverings.
