Clearly written proposals that are detailed and broken down into separate line items are a good sign that the contractor is being thorough and has prepared an accurate estimate. I received several estimates to replace my asphalt shingle roof system and the prices vary greatly. If one estimate seems much lower than the others and it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

We just acquired another property and the roof on this thing is 20 years old. Jack C Wilson was one of the estimates we received.
My call was promptly returned and scheduling an estimate was painless. Harry arrived on time and provided a written estimate on the spot. We took some time to think about it and decided to go with Jack Roofing. I called on a weekend, left a message and my phone call was returned first thing on Monday morning. Getting Harry to come back out was once again, painless. He went over the options, paperwork and next steps.

I recently used Jack C Wilson for my homes reroofing and I’m very satisfied with the work. Very professional employees from the office staff, Chris-owner and the roof workers. I have a tremendous amount of respect and commend the workers for their professionalism, effectiveness with working, timeliness, and afterwards clean up. I am absolutely thrilled with my roofing job. Chris did an excellent job of reviewing the estimate, explaining the process, and helped to arrange the financing. Josh, my project coordinator, did an awesome job of communicating what was happening on the day my roof was installed. I really felt like I was in good hands! Kyle and Jake came out today to inspect my roof. We noticed a yellow mark in my ceiling indicating a water leak. They went up to the roof and noticed that there was a nail sticking through the roof that may be causing my leak. They fixed the little hole in the roof and did not charge me for the small repair. I was at least expecting a service call charge. To my surprise, the charge was $0. They repaired the hole told me to keep an eye on it and call them if the leak in my ceiling returns. We've all been here. Florida hurricanes have passed through Jacksonville. Hail storms hit the Julington Creek Plantation area pretty hard. And then the roofers show up. We've all seen it. Hundreds of homes getting new roofs in a community that is 20+ years old and needing new roofs... regardless of whether or not mother nature has punched us along the way.

Impressed with the job on our roof. Not familiar with other roofing companies, so I can't comment on the price we paid other than to say it seemed reasonable. Harold, the former owner, retired soon after he made the deal with us, but seems the business has not lost a beat with two of his sons taking over.

Cheap materials , cheap labor ! Let's start from the beginning on my rooftop where I ask this young lady are you going to use the same quality of shingle that I currently have on my roof and she says yes. We got their "quickly and everything seemed on the up-and-up when we went in to sign the paperwork they told us they would start on the 15th but they got started on the 22nd. When I asked if they had workman's comp I should have asked if they had green cards for the people they left taking care of my roof. They said one of them spoke English but when I tried to speak to him that did not happen

Just had my 30 year old roof replaced though it never leaked and looked fairly good - why? Jack C Wilson put installed it the first time and for a three tab to last that long without a single problem is more than enough to use them for my new roof.
The new roof crew was great; one time, courteous, professional and fast. The roof was 90% finished in one day and completely installed and the site cleaned by then next afternoon. First, they were the only roofing company that I set an appointment with and they showed up on time. The person I set the appointment with over the phone was very pleasant and professional and told me that I would be meeting with Kyle. Thanks to Mother Nature, I needed to get my roof replaced. Me and ALL of my neighbors. So you can imagine the hassle. I got the names of 5 roofers from my agent and gave all of them a chance. Jack C Wilson was the best of the lot. The estimate was clearly explained He pointed out something that should be done differently to make things right and that they'd make sure that got done as part of the process. That was a plus.
