The communication was terrible- couldn’t get anyone to answer a phone. Then they would text you 15 minutes before close time and not respond. They switched my move time because someone else needed that time when I booked month in advance. I got them to switch it back to 8-10 as scheduled.
Moving day— the window given was 8-10am— the movers arrived… at 11:50
We were charged a service fee for moving truck in which we did not use since they loaded into a POD. The movers came in the personal vehicle so that made no sense.
We had to stop packing due to rain so job was not finished

The staff at Great Day Moving was impressive. I needed to have an antique piano moved across town from Olathe to Parkville, and they did a great job. The piano is an upright piano that is incredibly heavy, and I had explained that this was a very important family heirloom. The guys were VERY conscientious and took great care when packing and… moving the piano. After having a little snag on the original day they were to make the move, it still turned out well. I respect the fact that the owner called to tell me they were short 1 person for the move. He told me that he didn't feel it was safe

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Loaded our whole house in 4 hours, arrived to our destination the next day just as planned. Everything was safe and all in one piece. They packed the truck adequately so everything was safe!! The unload went so smooth. Seriously, these guys are life savers!!!! Can’t thank them enough for making our new transition so smooth!!!

Great Day Moving did an excellent job moving us. We were so impressed that they worked hard and steady until the job was complete... absolutely no breaks. It was a very hot day.
