Where to start. I ordered a new garage door from Precision Doors on June 24th. After many phone calls and a different story with each call, I was once again told the door was going to be delayed. Long story short, if I had waited for the door to come in from Precision, it would have been more than SIX MONTHS before installation.
So very frustrated with what happened at Precision, I contacted Bayside Garage Doors. I dealt with Richard and Jonah. They were both amazing to deal with. I told them what I was looking for. They told me the door could be installed within 3 weeks (special order door too

Great and quick job. Outstanding service from Jonah. Jonah didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need to fix the springs. He was honest and even gave some advice about the garage door opener and charging of an emergency. Owner Richard was quick to respond and scheduled immediately. Highly recommend.

The door was jamming up. They inspected and said the rollers needed to be replaced and recommended a new garage opener. Still jammed up after they left.
After inspecting the door myself, it was obvious that some of the hinges were bad. They should have noticed this. Had someone else come to fix the problem.

We called and informed we had a commercial garage door that had two issues; problem with reception of remote signals and that it was stuck in the up position. I was informed that they charged a min. show up fee which I accepted. When they got there the next day, they called and said that they needed to be two persons to handle the garage. When they arrived days later, I was told that it would cost $450 to fix the problem. I requested to know what their hourly rate was, excl. materials. I was told that they only worked on a fixed price and that it did not matter if this took 15 min. or 4 hours

Would not recommend. My garage door was having issues for several days - different things were occurring. As I was explaining it to them I felt more like I just didn't know what I was talking about since I didn't understand how garage door operates. I was given two choices - to spend either $200 or $400. Turns out I didn't need either. An example where money was a priority over customer service.
