We carry many parts on our truck and do our best to complete your repair on the first visit.

We live in the Grass Valley area and had the incredible good fortune to meet Bill Klinge of Coastland Appliance Repair a few years ago when our washing machine needed servicing. My Fidelity Home Warranty company hired Bill and his buddy to fix my microwave and dryer. WOW they are fabulous. Very knowledgable. I have had tons of repairmen in my homes, now I will request them for my appliances. He explained every repair, showed me the parts and they were efficient and only in my house for 20 mins the first time to diagnose and about an hour the second time to fix.

When Bill arrived to repair my washer and drier I was really worried. The appliances had had no problems in the two years since I bought the house, but they are installed in a tiny room hardly bigger than a closet and packed so tightly that I didn't see how anyone except a circus acrobat could get at the mechanism. Bill didn't seem discouraged, and by removing a door and muscling the washer out of its snug home he was able to fix the problem and then the dryer. Within 1 and 1/2 hour all was back in place and working smoothly. Bill left no mess and carefully cleaned up some spilled water and debris

I've been meaning to post this for several months... Very impressed with the quality and knowledge of Bill.. Unfortunately my dryer vent was in need of repair as well; however he doesn't do that kind of work.. He referred me to someone who did a great job; however it ended up costing extra money.. My advice to anyone who wants to use him for dryer repair make certain it's not vent related...

Pretty impressed with Bill in regards to fixing my Samsung Dryer. He thoroughly cleaned It, replaced the belt, and found a handful of change that made it's way into the internal workings of the machine. Reasonably priced also....and prompt! Bill came out to diagnose a problem w/ our Samsung washer. He wouldn't have been able to complete the diagnosis because the units are stacked and in a tight spot, so he couldn't move the machines by himself to access the rear panel. Fortunately I had someone to help him move the machines, so he diagnosed the problem. Since the repair would be an expensive and specialized two person job, he recommended another shop that he felt was competent to do the work. Nothing but positive experiences with Coastland Appliance over the years. Several years ago he saved our Bosch dishwasher when the consensus was that it was toast. He also replaced parts on our SubZero and wall oven which were still under warranty. Recently he fixed our Samsung refrigerator which was not defrosting, and also replaced the icemaker motor. As a one man operation, Bill might be difficult to get on the phone, but I will hang in there because of his knowledge, experience, and very reasonable rates

Took a few calls to get them out in the 1st place. Bill fit us in after 5 to diagnose our dryer. He got to the problem quickly, and was able to give us a temporary part to get the dryer going while he ordered the correct part. He was paid in full, check was cashed the next day. He was supposed to come back the following week with the correct part and said he would clean out the dryer vent when he returned w/o charge. Well, it has been a few weeks now, they have never returned any of our calls, my dryer is still running, but it now squeaks. Bummed, because we thought we had found a genuine

I moved to Santa Rosa and had an issue with my dishwasher. I called my home warranty company and they referred me to Coastland Appliance. Bill arrived towards the beginning of his arrival time window (and only a couple of hours after our initial call) and was very friendly. He quickly determined what was wrong with our Whirlpool washing machine and replaced the broken part. He also noticed a small pool of water at the bottom of the machine, looked for and corrected the cause. I was very impressed with his service and would highly recommend him!

The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and reasonable. He was able to save our 30 year old Sub Zero Frig. We were thrilled that he could use a part from another manufacture (our frig was so old the part was no longer available). This was 6 months ago and the frig is still working. We had him back to fix our Front Load Washer, he went above and beyond! He had to help me remove a cabinet that the washer was inside of (no charge). We used Coastland since they were the recommended repair service for our new home warranty when our oven wasn't working. The first experience was great ... courteous, showed up when he said he would and came back when the replacement part was delivered.

That's when the positive experience stopped.

When our wine fridge went on the blink, we called Coastland for the repair and they came over quickly to diagnose. He couldn't quite figure out what was wrong since the fridge worked intermittently. We paid him the requisite $69 fee for the diagnosis, saying he would call the wine

I can not recommend Bill with Coastland Appliance more highly enough! I had come home after a short vacation to find my refrigerator on the blitz. I thought to call about 3 appliance repair companies in Santa Rosa but the only one I could get a hold of was Coastland Appliance - on a weekend! Bill, the owner of Coastland Appliance, scheduled a service for the very next day. And as it turned out the repair was rather minor and my refrigerator was back up and running in no time at all.
