I have worked with Ken several times over the past 20 years and he has never disappointed. He is a talented designer and can work in a range of budgets and styles. Our first project together was located in Pacific Heights and ended up in a magazine. Ken took our design and added several unique touches and saw it through to completion. Our most recent project is located in Napa and as usual the process is very collaborative. Ken is very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend him.

We went thru the "Great Flood of 2018" & took that as an opportunity to re-do, as opposed to just replace, a Powder Room. We had NO IDEA what we were doing. Fortunately, a designer in another showroom took pity on me & sent me over to Domicile, as he said the guys over there would "take care of me." That's a major understatement. We got a custom made gorgeous lacewood vanity for only slightly more than the tacky pre-fab products we had despairingly encountered. Ken & Ron then dealt with the totally incompetent supplier of our countertop tile (including going over there on our behalf); recommended

Ken, you are funny. It was YOU that ordered the wrong cabinet faces because you transposed our correctly designated face style with an incorrect style just before you ordered. You were subsequently fired as a dealer by the cabinet manufacturer before our job was even complete. I am now stuck with a $50K pile of cabinet drawers that look like my son aligned in 8th grade wood working class. Afterwards, I was told that the reason that my cabinets won't align is that we had to field-replace the factory installed doors with the correct doors I wanted all along. Now I am screwed. After spending a small fortune and weeks of delays my cabinets faces don't even align correctly. The cabinets will not align from face-on and aren't flush to each other from a depth perspective either. Home Depot has better aligned cabinets. Today I was passed off to the manufacturer to try to resolve this on my own. I have no leverage since the manufacturer has been paid and the Ken (the middleman) is not supporting me. I am left holding the bag.
Thanks Ken for abandoning me and my project. Crappy customer service.

My experience with this company: unprofessional and discourteous. I called for a simple job of replacing some cabinets we bought there a while ago, and after four separate phone calls (all unreturned by Ken), when I finally got Ken on the phone, he admitted that he couldn't keep all of his projects straight, didn't follow up on my simple request (he promised to email a quote and never did; he promised to call me back 3x and never did), and best of all: he conceded that his service has been terrible. Pretty rude treatment when I tried to take a photo of something I liked to discuss with my interior designer. It was the only store out of 50 that I visited in the SFDC that did not allow photos, and they should post a sign about it rather than get huffy. Will never go back there.

I was extremely impressed with the service I received once I ordered my bedroom furniture from this company. I received continuous updates within minutes from when I placed my order, until when the items arrived. The staff are polite, attentive and actually know a lot about the products they sell. They have year round offers where I found a bargain on my nightstands. I will definitely be back!

This is our first kitchen remodel. We were going to go the IKEA route but were not pleased with the quality or choices. Our contractor recommended we take a look at Domicile - and we loved it. The choices and quality are amazing and were still within our budget. Ken is an absolute joy to work with. Apparently poor Domicile angered the review gods at Yelp and had them all deleted. Now as their loyal customers are coming to their rescue and reviewing them, those reviews are being marked as spam, so if you are curious, read the reviews that are being filtered. I should think that the fact that 21 people dropped what they were doing to review them when Yelp deleted their reviews should say all you need to know about working with these guys. They are awesome.

Case in point? Ken stood and watched/listened as my husband and I animatedly (and possible just a bit heatedly) discussed what we wanted

I bought kitchen cabinets from Domicile about five months ago. Firstly, they have a better selection of quality cabinets than any place I've been too. Materials, colors, designs that are unique (and, I suspected, out of my price range). Not true, in fact. Ken Burghardt helped me throughout the process -- and Ken is fantastic. He found me great, well, made cabinets that fit my price range and came out to do measurements, so everything fit just right. I loved working with these guys, and plan to be a client for years to come.

You definitely have to check out Domicile cabinets, especially if you are interested in Brookhaven or Woodmode cabinets. Although Ken has a nice showroom in the Design Center and sells mainly high end cabinets, his price was $17,000 less than the other Brookhave/Woodmode outlet and my local cabinet guy. A designer at the design center told me that Ken is a real kitchen designer--unlike with most cabinet places. And he really knows materials--gave me excellent advice on my kitchen marble. And he knows people--called to talk to the owner of IRG about my marble issue and everyone there bent over

Lucky. That's how I feel about my referral to Ken Burghardt, owner of Domicile SF, for my kitchen remodel.
