Established in 1949 by Robert E. Johnson Sr., we are now a fourth-generation family of house movers. R. E. Johnson & Son, Inc. was incorporated in 1959 when Robert E. Johnson, Jr. joined his father in the family business. They focused mainly on frame homes and moved a lot of beach cottages off the islands in Manatee and Sarasota County as they were being developed.
At Johnson Housemoving, we take care to give our customers a high-quality experience. Our motto is "We Move Anything." From frame and concrete block structures to boats, train cars, heavy equipment and machinery, we move it all. We relocate historical buildings for the Historical Society. For years, we have moved all of Manatee and Sarasota County's portable school classrooms.
Helical piers, also known as helical piles, helical anchors, or screw piles, have been used for nearly 180 years to secure deep foundations and provide structural support.
