Hipps & Son Roofing Co., LLC is a local company started in 1989 by Norman Hipps. Norman Hipps has over 35 years of experience in the roofing industry and Jeff Hipps has over 10 years roofing experience. Our company specializes in residential and commercial installations. We install shingles, EPDM Rubber, and metal roofing.
We have three main suppliers in North Carolina: ABC Supply of Conover, 84 Lumber, and Roofing Supply Group of Charlotte. We are a Preferred Contractor with Owens-Corning and Mule-Hide Products, and can offer additional warranty coverage if desired. When you obtain more than one bid or proposal, be sure you are comparing apples to apples.
Some estimates may be lower due to the use of a lower quality shingle and material. Some material may be reused instead of replaced. Ask for references. We can provide references from building contractors that use our services and residential customers we have installed a new roof for. Ask friends and associates for names of roofing contractors they have had satisfactory dealings with.

Hipps and Son Roofing did a superior job and were so very reasonable! Our roof was not an easy job, yet they were able to make it look so seamless. This is the second roof they have done for us. They took great care of our property and communicated so easily. They cleaned up every day before leaving. Very professional! We would not use any other roofer😀. You will not go wrong with hiring them to do a great job!
