Air Rite Service got its start through a business friendship in 1952 when Mr. Herc Levy, a Shaker Heights, Ohio native, inventor, and owner of Viking Blower Company, asked Jack Harris to work for him. Mr. Harris, already with experience under his belt from working with General Electric and the Cleveland Illuminating Company, said, "no thanks, I want to start my own company!"

I did due diligence beyond what any tenant should be subjected to, but rent home owned by my mother. They came out and tried to help me fix it, giving me advice on parts and jumper wires with capacitors. Even advised me not to spend money on more parts they sell! They charged me ZERO to check on a dead compressor. They tolerated amazing annoyance while I went thru 14 appraisals, count it! 14 for competitors, when I made my choice as best on race day in every category, but my mom belabored it, while I roasted and extinguished other possibilities with their sub par services and offers.
