We have done business with Modern Septic & Sewer over a span of years. My husband and I are retired now but over the the years as our children grew, we owned 3 homes. We always were happy with their service. Over the last 30 years when ever I had a question and called the office they were always very pleasant and helpful. I feel when you call a business and are treated with respect as a customer nowadays is very rare. I know over the years my husband has recommended Modern to coworkers and our friends. This was the first time I used Modern Septic and Sewer to pump my septic tank. Service was on-time as promised and working with the office and the gentleman that did the service was very easy. This firm really does seem to care about the customers and they all did what they could to help me understand the service, timing and my questions regarding my septic system. This is a very professional company that is extremely knowledgeable in all things to do with sewer and septic. Our septic system failed and Amanda was quick to calm me down, explaining the issue and how to go about getting the permit from the county. They were able to send someone out right away to get us a quote. I felt like I was an educated consumer but had no idea how a septic system really worked and Amanda was able to explain it all to me in laymen's terms. If you are having any issues, or need your septic system replaced, I would give them a call!

I would like to Thank Amanda, Joe and the entire team at Modern! Customer service and communication were Excellent! They answered all our questions. They All were courteous and extremely helpful in finding the best solution at the lowest cost to us. We purchased an older home that needed a complete septic update. The job was completed on time and at a lower cost than initially quoted. All phases of the project were executed with the highest quality. From bid to install and finish. I would Highly recommend Modern Septic!

I would never recommend dealing with Modern to anyone. They installed a new system for us in December 2018 and these are the problems we encountered:
1) They were the lowest bid and we hired them. They then raised the cost and billed us over an additional 20% after installation.
2) They deviated from the site plan without approval, then changed the county site plan to match after completion.
3) They left piles of debris, no clean up and the yard was trashed with no regard to the existing landscaping.
4) They refused to cover the complete mound with topsoil as stated in the contract. They don’t
