Established in 1982 by David W. Pickard Jr., AIA, PE (1933 - 2013), Pickard Architects is a California-based architecture and engineering firm. We have completed more than 1,900 projects over the last 38 years. In addition to our traditional architecture and engineering services, Pickard Architects provides construction management, project management, and entitlement services.

Thank you Pickard Architects for assisting me with the remodel and addition of my home. The process was seamless and the results were amazing. Loved the design, selection of materials and coordination with my contractor. We were well represented with the City Permit process and would recommend Pickard for any project.

Pickard architects are professionals, city of Whittier takes a lot of time to review plans because they are good at what they do, Pickard are experts in Commercial, Restaurant building and Residential in the area, besides Sprouts and Auntie's bakery and cafe, they are amazing team, for those who are about to hire an architect I recommend interviewing a few, as a Mexican Architect I am really lucky to have met this team of experts, pleased with the firm, Whittier is a beautiful city and we care about its image.

I wish I could go back in time so I wouldn't make the mistake of hiring Pickard. If you are looking to complete a project in a timely fashion, without mistakes, and with someone that actually follows through with the project, please look elsewhere. Pickard delayed my project, made mistakes, and he was nowhere to be found when the city inspections took place. Then at the end, he had the audacity to charge me more in order to complete what he was legally obligated to prepare within the contract price. I had no other option than to pay him just to get city approval and be done with this unprofessional

This company is also a law firm and they us it towards their advantage with how their agreement is written, it's 1-sides benefiting them only, if you are not an attorney you will not under stand the agreement. It allows them to re-bill for additional cost once the project is completed and paid for. They will tell is a billing error.
