David Duncan, owner of Duncan Home Construction, was raised in Apalachicola and currently resides in Eastpoint. After graduating from Apalachicola High School in 1994, David worked for a local contractor in Carrabelle, Florida. The experience was invaluable and provided training in residential construction.

After many years of planning and talking with many with regard to building our retirement dream home in 2019, we went with DHC as our contractor. There are many things we loved about the experience and the outcome and many other things, not even satisfactory which makes the additional $18k +/- out of pocket expenses really hard to feel good about. Perhaps things would have turned out better if David had more time to oversee and inspect the progress but he had many projects going on at the same time. Not exactly sure the reason, but some results are a "C" at best.

This company is the best! I am a realtor and I have worked with a lot of builders over the past 20+ years. David Duncan and his crew are by far the best. Their attention to detail, communication skills and craftsmanship are impeccable! I would highly recommend him as a builder. My husband and I were under contract with two other builders and had the worst experiences any one could have. We gave them their start up money and then they disappeared. After weeks turning into months we we're able to get out of the contracts and some of our money back. It was hell and such an upsetting set back on both
