Otis and Betty Ballard started our family owned and operated company in 1967. Originally from Kentucky, Otis managed the family farm and had a mechanical design background. He moved his wife and 8 children to California to work in his brother's plumbing, heating and air conditioning company. Shortly after arriving in California Otis branched off the family business.

These guys saved me from permanently losing one of my Grandmothers earrings that had been passed down to my mother and then to me. They came the same day I called and were able to retrieve the earring that had fallen out of my ear in the shower and had been promptly washed down the drain completely out of sight despite my desperate attempt to find it. Anyone looking for air conditioning repair/service or just a whole new unit you must call these guys
Today I accidentally looked my granddaughter in the car and I was panicking. These 2 guys (Tai and Frankie) were working across the street putting in a new air conditioner came running over without me asking
They put a easy-up over my car and started trying to get my doors unlocked. Firemen came and ended up getting my granddaughter out but these two guys were awesome and stayed there the whole time !! This company hires some really great guys !!

Mark and his staff are always professional and polite.
I had a leaking valve on my outdoor pool shower and I had been using a bucket to catch the water. This got old having to empty a five gallon bucket on a daily basis.
I called and Mark Ballard himself personally came and took care of it for me. Reasonable prices, no hidden charges, and that great customer service I mentioned earlier. We have also used MB for our HVAC system as well with the same experience. Great company, great people.

This company is truly concerned with helping the consumer. Our heater quit working and we called another company out first who told us our heater could not be fixed and that we needed a new unit which would cost us 7k. And of course charge us a service call of $65. We then called MB Plumbing and they sent Warren out who has 30 plus years of experience and he fixed our heater for $189. Wow! What a difference. This place is a gem and I would recommend them to everyone who has an issue with their heater or air conditioner.

I love family owned businesses and Mark's business has met all of my expectations! I have used this company for AC issues multiple times and each time they have been fast, friendly, and very professional. The first two times they came out 4 years ago, it was because my dog chewed my AC wires, then last year my dual capacitor went out, and just last… month we needed a new furnace. It was extremely hot and we were suffering with no air, Mark personally came on a Sat to get my furnace installed when the service appts were booked solid that week. 5 stars for Mark and his entire team!

We had some problems with the upstairs AC thermostat panel not turning on. MB was able to have someone come out the same day I called! So thankful they were able to come so quickly. Gabriel was very kind and informative on what the issue was in my home. The problem was fixed in a timely manner and Gabriel made a few recommendations on how to keep my AC working properly. I will be choosing MB for our future needs!

Have had the setup for just over a month, so have been able to test the heating, tankless water heater, and today it got above the 90 degree mark, so now have been able to see how the A/C works when needed. All have been working great, and so glad I had the furnace/air handler moved to the garage. Combined with the variable speed motor on the air handler, I can barely hear it running, and I even have the door right next to it open into the house from garage.

Mark is really excellent at his craft. I have been working with him for almost 5 years and he is reliable and does great work. He keeps the units at all of the properties in excellent working order and fixes things BEFORE they break. You might think a maintenece plan is a rip off but this keeps big problems from happening and can prevent emergency calls.
He has also replaced and installed new systems at multiple properties for me. Fair price, great work... and he is a great guy!

They charged me $185 to add freon, the A/C still didn’t work. Due to our schedule, they had to come back days later, he said we need to replace a valve $1,285 and if we wanted the whole piece it would be $1,700. I called a different company, who came and replaced the valve for $450. I would definitely never recommend MB Plumbing.

Everyone from the office staff to the technicians has been nothing courteous and professional. After living in our home for 7 years we decided to have our HVAC tuned before the summer heat kicked in. Apparently, you should have everything serviced regularly. MB was able to schedule an appt for two days after I called and Gabriel arrived on time. He assessed the condition of the system and even identified a fault in the A/C drain which had been routed back into itself. Gabriel fixed this issue and tuned up the entire system in less than two hours. I will be using MB for all my HVAC needs going

We had a furnace/heat pump that was 31 years old. I kept avoiding having it serviced because I know it was going to be a full replacement. My wife called and MB came out the same evening we called. They offered to do a quick fix for a switch that had gone bad, gave us an option to replace the furnace alone or to do the whole system. The AC unit itself was 12 years old and it made sense to me to do it all at once. No haggle pricing, very upfront and they use good units. They had an install cancel and we were able to have our system installed the next day. Technicians showed up on time and completed

Mb Plumbing installed all new ducting and two new registers and did a mighty fine job! When I first called them to schedule a meeting for an estimate they responded promptly and arrived on time. We discussed all the possibilities for the job and what would work best to achieve better circulation, energy efficiency and cost effective. Gabriel thoroughly discussed my needs and inspected what was currently in place and made a very fair estimate. I'm very glad I chose them to do the work and the system is working just like I hoped for. Very nice installers and they cleaned up after the work

My puppy ripped out my wiring on my AC unit, and it's the start of that Southern California summer heat.
Called around and of course everyone is booked solid for a couple weeks, but I explained the situation the office and they said they could have someone out the very next day, hallelujah!
They gave me an appointment slot between 2-6 the next day, and was great at communicating exactly when the day of.
They came and while my situation was an easy fix, the pups did blow a fuse but they quickly assessed the situation and fixed it in no time
