Colonial Plank Floors is a family-run company specializing in hand-crafted, wide plank, colonial, and farmhouse reproduction flooring in Colmar, Pennsylvania. Our shop is located north of Philadelphia on the border of Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Over the last 14 years, we have hand-crafted more than 700 hardwood plank floors for customers from Maine to Arizona, to Georgia and everywhere in between.
When customers visit our shop, we first ask them to imagine the mood they want their spaces to represent. If they are looking for the feeling and character of an old farmhouse, a colonial-period home, a southwestern ranch, or an old New York loft, they have come to the right place! At Colonial Plank Floors, we do not produce perfect, polished flooring.
Our 11-inch wide red oak flooring is crafted with the clearest planks we offer. Select red oak is characterized by its clear grain, minimal knots, and long lengths that measure up to 13 feet. Each plank is cut from kiln dried lumber, hand-edged with 18th-century tools, and finished with hand-rubbed oil or stains and top coats.
There is a reason why 95% of our rustic planks are sold prefinished. We finish all of our planks by hand and pay attention to details better than anyone else making prefinished oak flooring. To get the beautiful, deep finishes that we offer, we use only the best top finishes and wood stain colors you can buy in Colmar, Pennsylvania.
