Of course, when something is going to go wrong with your AC, it will be on a Sunday during the hottest time of year. AC stopped blowing cold air and I called Blalock. I received a return call within 30 minutes and Chris was at my house within an hour. Chris was amazing, having worked all day, he was a true professional and didn’t mind all of my questions. Chris was extremely thorough, and gave me a great education while diagnosing and handling the repair. Last year in July I used this company to remove my old ac system and install a new ac/heatpump system and install all new ductwork. Total cost $11,000. After the unit was installed, I kept hearing strange huffing noises from the vents. They came out multiple times to investigate with no resolution. In the meantime the noise kept getting worse and worse. Then my husband and I decided to go into the crawlspace to perform our own investigation and there was water all over the crawlspace and all of the brand new ductwork, it was dripping wet with condensation. I called them back out for an 8th service

I have been using Blalock for the past 5 years for maintenance and service. They have always been very professional, prompt, and have provided excellent service. They went out of their way to get manufacturer's warranty coverage for a problem I had with my system - something I did not even ask about because I did not know it was eligible. After shelling out over $1000 to another HVAC company to repair my furnace that was still not working after their service, I called Blalock. They sent technicians that diagnosed the problem accurately and charged me under $300 for the service. Both technicians (Justin and Dean) were knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend.

I heard about Blalock through word of mouth from several people at work. They were great with communication on right on with their pricing. The quote is exactly what I paid after the job was done. Justin was great to work with and returned calls promptly. We had the both HVAC systems replaced along with new thermostats. The crew was polite and friendly and left their work areas clean. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who is looking to replace their HVAC.

I had what I thought was good service for a couple years. For the spring checkup a tech came out with an attitude and complained the entire time he was there. After he left i notice the downstairs unit making a noise. He also overcharged for the service call. I called and talked to the owner. While polite she had no intention of taking care of the overcharge. She had a supervisor come out to check the noise. He also seemed to have an attitude. He said the unit had a loose screw somewhere and tightened some but it did not correct the noise. The noise got worse and I called again. They sent another

We are very grateful that we found this company. We had to wait a week for installation as they are very busy, but they were kind enough to loan us 2 window ac units which really helped keep us cool enough to wait a few days. Everyone was professional and very polite from the initial appointment for price quote to final install. They went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate it. We called asking for a quote on a unit for our porch! They came by within a day and gave us a reasonable quote. Justin took so much time with us evaluating our situation. Once the decision was made to proceed with the unit, it was installed that week! Justin made all the arrangements for the electrician for evaluation and installation. Justin is extremely helpful and professional. They guys that actually did the installation, JJ and Mike, very polite and professional as well. We HIGHLY recommend Blalock. We will be using their services for all our units in the future.

I called Blalock after having another heating and air company come out and look at my furnace which wasn’t working. He had poked around in my attic for a long time and gave me quotes between $300 and $900 to replace a part. Then, he wanted to sell me an entire hvac system. He had zero people skills. I had to be home between 2-5pm and he arrived at 5:45pm. He wreaked of smoke.

Coming from someone who works in the service industry (automotive) it's extremely refreshing to have a quality service experience. Jeremy was extremely professional in his approach to diagnosing my problem. I explained to him the "less than desirable experience" I had with another company and explained the problem I had and he went straight to… work. upstairs he found 3 minor concerns that he addressed quickly and one more major concern that was caused by the previous company!! Jeremy took his time monitoring my system inside and out and came to the conclusion that I didn't have a problem

The most incredible thing happened for Royal Animal Refuge and our pups this morning.. Blalock Heating & Air is donating and installing a brand new, high efficiency heating and air system to us!!! I noticed my system was not turning on. I called and talked to Mathew. He instructed me in what I needed to do and said he would be there between 2 and 4. He called before 2 and was here in the timeline. He did set expectations that if something happened it could be later but would call en route. He identified the issue. Fixed it and did other inspection. And my house was cooking once again in this heat. I recommend this company, Matthew and Shane are awesome.
