It was also the first import brand we took on to give us a greater reach in the Wisconsin automotive market. Our General Manager grew up in Sauk City, Wisconsin, the location of Ballweg Chevrolet Buick established in 1965 and has been part of our business since 2001 before he took on the leadership role in Wausau.

At first was very good, but then we scheduled to get our car fixed. And all it was was that our car door handle just completely broke off, so they said it shouldn't take too long. Just 15-20 min. So we go in, and they said, we were never scheduled in, when we obviously did schedule it in because we talked with them and they told us what time to go in and what day. We get there at 8am, and they continue to get all these other customers and help them out and we sat there for 3 hours just asking when they were going to be done because it was seriously just one door handle. I spent a couple months looking at various Tacoma trucks and finally found one at Toyota of Wausau that looked great. A couple emails with Jordan and I made the long drive down to give it a spin. Jordan went over all of the fine points of the truck, titled it for me (out of state); Will in finance went over all of the financial details and they even delivered it so I wouldn't have to make the long drive back to Wausau. Finally, Tim and another gentleman said they would deliver it at noon - it was exactly noon when they pulled up. Great guys too. Cars are cars, it's about service and they delivered

We had a particular Prius model (2021 XLE AWD-e) in mind to buy and Toyota of Wausau had the exact car and was the closest to us of any dealer although over 250 miles from where we live. Our purchase was mainly handled via email and phone but the communication with Marc Metz was excellent and all went very smoothly. We were able to put a deposit on the car with a credit card and then complete the purchase, orientation, and pick up on site. Marc knew that we did not have a great deal of time to spare with a 9 hour round-trip! He was efficient and informative as was the person who handled the paper

We got the truck right when Bob said we would, which is incrementally more difficult these days with current supply chain disruptions and delays. Honest dealership. After moving to the area we started using their service department and have found them to be upfront and honest. When we needed a new vehicle we worked with Bob and were able to tell him exactly what we wanted and he and Jason went to work finding it. Several days later they had the vehicle we wanted delivered from Appleton and we drove off the lot with exactly what we were looking for without hassle or pressure to look at anything they happened to have on the lot.

I scheduled for a simple recall repair in November and this place has called the day before or day of to cancel and reschedule 3 times now! How hard is it to have 1 single person look at my car and fix the repair? I have no doubt that they will cancel and try to reschedule next week's appointment as well.

I had an appointment to test drive a vehicle, when I arrived no one knew I was coming. The salesman I worked with was friendly and knowlegable enough, and the car I looked at seemed ok and reasonably priced. They could have offered me a higher trade value for my car, but the overall deal was probably reasonable. Unfortunately, they had Fox News playing in the lounge.

The only good customer service I have received at Toyota of Wausau was when I purchased my Camry. When I called regarding the sticker that was seemingly when the next oil change was due but did not match with the date I was told when I purchased the car, no one called me back for several days. Then I finally found out an oil change was not done when the vehicle was traded in which was not consistent with what I was told.
