Services
Our epoxy floor installation has four steps. Day 1: Grind the floor with a diamond-head grinder in preparation for the primer we will use this first day. Our grinder features its own HEPA filter for a dust-free environment at this stage. Grinding the floor before installing the epoxy floor opens up the pores for a good bonding surface.
In 1991, Mike earned his Industrial Plastics degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College. He had a focus on Material Science. He worked for several plastics companies before opening up his own epoxy business. For over 15 years, Mike has dedicated himself to putting down the best epoxy floor available.

I used RI Floor Epoxy in May of 2018 to put an epoxy coating on my cement garage floor and on the cement apron between my garage floor and my asphalt driveway. They did a good job with the installation and I got a 10 year warranty in writing. This winter, the epoxy on the cement apron cracked and chipped. I contacted Mike Lane this spring (April of 2021) many times via text, voice mails, and actual conversation. He has ignored me and is not honoring the warranty. For this reason, I cannot recommend his business.

I couldn't be happier with the service and final result that we got from RI Floor Epoxy. I've been shopping around for a couple years to get my garage floor done. I work for a major airline and have always been envious of their hangar floor... but this job is even better. Don't try to save a few bucks with someone else, of you're going to have this work done, get it done right. You don't ever want to have to redo a job like this. not only is the work of the highest quality, the work crew is professional, on time, responsive, and very easy to work with. These guys are great!

RI installed a sun porch floor for us and we are absolutely in love with the finished product. Mike came recommended from a neighbor and was great to work with from the start. He came out to do the estimate and gave it to us right away, before he left...no waiting. He was great about accommodating our schedule. Steve took it from there and showed up on time to start the project, continued to be punctual each day, he was communicative and tidy. They finished by basement floor which was in bad condition. They did a wonderful job and completed it in timely fashion. You can see the final floor on their Facebook page. They were very responsive to all questions and concerns I had with my floor. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of resurfacing their garage, basement, or any other floor.

Had an original resurfacing job fail after a few years. It wasn't an epoxy product and original installer and material company wouldn't stand behind their products. RI 's crew came in and removed the old product and laid down a beautiful floor. However not without issues, we found an area of previous product wasn't ground to remove all and RI was immediately out to rectify and make everything perfect. Nice professional caring group of people to deal with that stand behind their work. Highly recommended!

We recently had our garage floor epoxied. It is undoubtedly the best garage floor in the neighborhood! My neighbor's are envious! Excellent installation and quality materials. We had our garage floor done about 6 years ago from another company and received a life time warranty. It started peeling and flaky off last year. When I called to get it repaired I learned the company had closed. There went our warranty and money spent!! RI floor epoxy was recommended. We learned when they came for an estimate that our… existing epoxy floor had not been properly installed. We are extremely pleased with the new floor and happy to do with with a upstanding company. I highly recommend this company. Great quality and easy to work with.

This was the second floor Mike and his team have done for me. They did my basement floor first and I loved it so much, I had them come back and epoxy my garage floor. It looks amazing! Just completed my 3.5 Car garage and did an AMAZING job. Closed on our new house Dec 21st and they were in within a couple of weeks time. Mike and his son were great to work with, super knowledgeable, laid out all the expectations and timing of the project and delivered. Highly recommend RI Flooring Epoxy. They are truly artist in their trade. They converted our basement cement floor into looking like amazing marbleized floor. They are so easy to work with and personable. Loved their work so much we had them return and do our garage floor. AGAIN, work of art! No boring cement floor … no boring, typical epoxy floor. Find myself, instead of just quickly passing through my garage, I now some time take some time to look down and admire these gorgeous garage floors.
