I would give 0 stars if Google would let me. If you want a good deal... DO NOT purchase a vehicle through CBS Hillsborough. We made the mistake of buying an SUV and were blindsided by a million ridiculous fees. Salesman are extremely unresponsive to phone calls and emails and drop the ball on literally everything. We have been going back and forth with Tim since December to cancel a completely useless $3,000 warranty (that they would not let me purchase without) and still waiting on the money! Obviously we learned our lesson - we will never be back to a CBS.

I set up an appointment to look at a truck. When I arrived at the scheduled time, another person was looking at it. What transpired had a pretty high probability of being choreographed with the conversation between the other potential buyer and salesperson letting me know the other buyer was prepared to purchase the next business day. Also, prior to arriving, the salesperson said they were willing to negotiate price, but when we discussed on site, he said the price was not negotiable.

I appreciate that use car sales is a tough business, but, for me, despite clearly stating I was only looking & not in market at present, got a polite but hard sell. I believe they did a hard credit check on me without my approval as I stated most clearly that I was just looking. Also, at least three additional attempts to contact me later. Just a little too eager, but then again, it's a tough business.

I never leave reviews ever. I have extremely poor credit with some issues with late payments and charge offs. We were looking for a larger vehicle due to having a baby soon. I knew there was little chance I could finance anything this soon after having credit issues. We started working with Tim there. He didn’t judge our credit or the amount of issues we had unlike other dealers. He worked SEVERAL days on finding a way to finance us. Other dealers would run our credit, tell us we were declined and hang up. But he kept working at it. He truly cared and knew we needed help and was willing to take

I have never been as pleased working with a "car salesman" as I am with my experience with Tim at CBS. My needs and concerns were met with genuine concern and he helped me get a car that I love and with payments that make sense for me. I cannot say enough great things about my experience. BUY A CAR FROM TIM, he is great. Will be a customer for life with him. If you want to be treated like your business is the most important thing to a company go to CBS.
