The service person (arriving a day late) was visibly angry after pumping the tank. After his greeting: "$320 cash or check only" he lectured me on how long it took to pump the tank, how long it must have been since the last cleaning (I bought the house recently), and details of his struggle and the near-catastrophic consequences of my ignorance. (I'm a book writer, I don't specialize in house systems. That's why I hire people.)
I suggest instead that ABC hand people a pamphlet about good septic system maintenance, instead of bawling out customers.

I've used this company for many years but this is the last time. Several other people have commented about how bad the service has become and I just experienced it myself. I hired them to drain my tank. The service person was rude and I'll leave it at that because this isn't why I think everyone should avoid this business. He failed to properly replace the lid back on top of the septic tank. I have children and I hate to think what could have happened because of this service person's failure to place the lid correctly back on the tank. The picture is exactly how he left it. I recommend you look
