I contacted Sunshine Heating & Cooling for a central air conditioning estimate. Josh came over to my house to reviewed the job. I didn’t hear back after a couple days so left an email to remind them I was waiting for the estimate. It’s now been a few more days and still no estimate. I assume they aren’t interested in my business. In addition I take their lack of response as a testimony to how their service response would be as well. I would not recommend Sunshine Heating & Cooling in Waupaca.

Sunshine heating and cooling is the biggest rip off ever!! I had them at my house 10 days ago to fix my boiler. He charged me $260 to clean it and now it's not working again. Wants to charge me another huge service fee to come check it out again. They do not warranty their work and are not very knowledgeable. I feel they used me as an easy target.

I had Sunshine replace my 40 year old oil/wood fired boiler with a high efficiency LP boiler. They did a fantastic job all the way from quoting through getting the job finished. They are all very well versed in the equipment that they sell and install. They were able to answer all of my questions up front and were very easy to communicate with throughout the install. The work was done quickly, efficiently, and they showed up when they said they would. They also make the piping look very tidy and neat as well as leave a very clean worksite. Out of the companies that we contacted in the area for the replacement of our furnace, Sunshine Heating gave us the best initial response and follow-up. They are very customer focused and provided us with up coming product changes that could impact our decisions. The work that they did was thorough and very professional. We would highly recommend them and will be a returning customer!

They came to give a quote on a new hot water heater and installation of a high velocity system. Never heard back from them again even after stopping in person to see what their intent was. Never heard a peep and I get to think about it everyday as I drive by their business.

10/31/19 my furnace died, Sunshine charged $167.69 to stop by and confirm it was the inducer motor. Quote of $766.65 plus tax to repair.
I found the part at Rons Refrigeration the next day and installed myself in 20 minutes. Part was $403.11.
That's a $363.54 charge for labor to install.
Did I mention Sunshine installed the furnace and was still under a 10 year parts warranty till 2/7/21?

I have had several dealings with them but most recently I had issues with my central air or at least what I thought it was. I had them install a new unit last year so I called them thinking it would be covered by the warranty. I called and explained in great detail what was happening and asked about it being covered under warranty. They sent someone out and the first thing he said was if it's not the actual central air unit its self I'll be charged for them coming out. Something I was not told in the first place. I explained to him all the stuff I had said to the person on the phone and he told

I have used them twice this year. This summer our air conditioning went out then this winter our heater went out. They were here quickly both times with very fair prices. A great company to deal with and everyone you talk to sounds really happy. The first time I called around to everyone in the area, now I know who to call.

3 years ago I made a decision to replace my whole heating system and add central air. Sunshine came in with a fair price and a quality units to install. The salesmen explained the needs of my house, what was to be done and what I could expect.
The work they did exceeded my expectations, was done fast and very well in my opinion. The equipment they installed was all first quality. Craftsmanship of their work was also first rate. everything they installed was working and problem free.
If I ever need major replacement or work done... I'm calling these guys first.
