He was completely honest and straightforward, rarely do I come across someone as stand up as he is. Very intelligent and beyond kind and helpful. My home ended up not being in his service area and after finding that out he still stayed on the phone with me for 15 minutes to help expedite my shopping process for tesla powerwalls for my house. Who does that!? I’d be hard pressed to believe that anyone who would call this company could be anything but happy.

I’m reading these reviews about people receiving solicitation calls. Well, maybe they should focus on the customers they’re losing during those calls?
We connected with them through Tesla in February. It is now June and STILL no proposal from them. Chet came to our property a month and a half ago. Said he’d work up something easily in 45 mins and call to discuss. A few texts and calls...and six weeks later, still NADA.
The clock keeps ticking away on rebate expirations.
Beyond disappointing.

American Solar (aka Pacific Green Energy) were the victims of a fraudulent telemarketing scam. They have never have and never will do any outbound calling because they don't need to do it. They are a legitimate Bay Area family business that does almost exclusively referral-based business. They work directly with contractors and well as homeowners on large residential projects. Give them a call and give them a chance for your renewable energy business! They do great work with integrity and are conscious community members.

I considered proposals from several solar vendors for an installation with a coastal exposure. American Solar Corp. put together a proposal with Sunpower panels which are much better for coastal locations than standard panels. Also, they recommended an inverter that would enable the panels to provide power to the house even if PG&E power went down — something the other vendors did not even suggest. Best of all, the cost was in line with the others. I am very happy with my solar installation and with the service provided by American Solar Corp of Sausalito!

We added solar to our house in hopes of reducing our high energy costs and to offset the addition of an electric car. American solar provided excellent, timely, knowledgable customer service. The walked us thru the options, helped us assess our usage and needs, and installed our system quickly and efficiently. They handle all the PG&E details and provide the simple paperwork needed for tax credits, etc. They also provided frequent follow up in the months after install to ensure the system was working as expected and to review new energy bills. It was a simple process and we are seeing the benefit

They did what they promised to do, when they promised to do it! In addition, their team put so much care into the installation assuring that it was clean and astehtically pleasing. NO CONDUIT. This was not easy but they put the extra care and time into the job to do it right. I recommend them to anyone looking to add solar to their home or business.

We had American Solar install 32 panels on our Mill Valley roof 1 1/2 years ago. Within one year, we were producing exactly the amount of power they had predicted when PG & E trued our account. American Solar installed panels on our house about a year ago. The panels have been producing more electricity than estimated (until the rains started), and American Solar took care of pretty much everything; they even dealt with PG&E bureaucracy for us at several points along the way, which was a big relief.

I had a PV solar system that was installed about 10 years ago. The panels were failing as was the the original installer. The solar panel company offered to buy back my panels and I had the opportunity to research and select a new provider. It is a very competitive field and after many interviews I selected American Solar. I was so glad that I did. They were very sensitive to my needs and extremely knowledgeable about the industry. The service was superb. They were a pleasure to work with and I would do it again in a minute. Good thing I won't have to do anything for many years as this system

We began looking at solar last year and talked to several companies. It seemed really complicated and we weren't sure about the whole lease thing. These companies were all pushing leases.
