With 29 years of replacing, designing, installing and otherwise working with screen enclosures, we know what we are doing. We all need to eat, but we want our pricing fair, so we work toward that goal, constantly. Quillco Service Company was started by John Quillen in 2011 when he saw a need for repairing and re-screening all the aging aluminum enclosures in the greater Jacksonville, Florida area.
Whether on a deck or pool, a window or door, screens are there to make life pleasant, not irritating. Although we repair pool cages all over the entire Jacksonville area, Fleming Island remains a favorite spot. It's where we started this whole business! A combination of a big storm and a Boxer puppy were responsible for the damages done to this room which would lead to us doing a complete Fleming Island pool screen repair & rescreen to this room.
We have been doing this so long, we could rescreen an enclosure while asleep. But we won't sleep on the job! Actually we are incredibly quick and perform our rescreenings with high quality and perfection. Live without the bugs and annoying neighbors. I hate giving a bad review to a local business but the 1 star was earned. I was referred by Spas etc. to have John's company remove a screen panel to move in my hot tub. They removed the wrong panel but we made it work anyway. When his employee Coco put the panel back in it was loose and wrinkled. It's the only one of my screen panels that is wavy, wrinkly and it looks bad. John has said he'd get someone out to fix it since August '21, it's now November with no fix. This is a 15 minute fix that they keep dodging. Now he has stopped answering. I paid $250 plus tip to have a wavy screen panel installed

John at Quillco was recommended to us by our original enclosure company for the instillation of a dog door. John was very responsive, gave us great advice for the type of door we needed, and his prompt instillation was top-notch. While he was here, he repaired another one of our screens (this was an add on request we made after he arrived that morning and he was very gracious to accommodate).
All work was done for a very reasonable fee and he gave an accurate estimate before he arrived.

Read the update please.
My neighbors told me about this company and I contacted John and I’m glad I did, he communicated well with me and gave me a pretty early installation date! Most people were no shows and others made me wait for about 4-7 weeks.
He was very reasonable compared to all the pricey brand names in jax
Tyler took almost full 6-7 hours and screened it.
And told would come next day to do the side plates and they promptly came and did the work
I’m very happy with the result.
Update: reduced 2 stars after miserably begging them to come fix the broken screen for about 9 months

We apologize for any delay in given our clients estimates and scheduling there Repair services due to the complications from COVID-19 it has made it very difficult to acquire the basic materials needed to do our services and being we are short handed do to most everyone taking government handouts it’s made it Very Difficult to get our most simple of materials due to we only use Premium Grade Materials . I called and got an email response- that is the only way this company seems to communicate- that said he- John - would come out before the end of the week. He did not and went out of town. Said he would come out on the following Wednesday. We never saw him, but I followed up and he said he sent a coworker out. Never got a quote, followed up again via email, still no quote. Complete unprofessionalism for this small job. If his work is like his communication, don't waste your time.

Mr. John came to fix my screen door and to install new screen door. What a great person he is and provided excellent customer service. We had some issue in installation but he took care of all the issues and provided excellent service. And by far very reasonable price in market. One most important thing for me was the communication. Always communicated in advance for his plan which I liked the most. Most other doesn't bother to communicate if they are not coming or if coming late. So thank you for your service.

Good work but poor customer service. The owner showed up to our house without notifying anyone he was on your property and just started repairing our screen. Prior to his arrival, I never received a quote and I specifically told the dispatcher to have him quote us before he started the work. After he was done, we never received a receipt of payment and future credit that was promised for the lack of professionalism. I called them back asking to have the invoice emailed to me and 3 days later still no invoice.

Fantastic customer service and a quality job! Matt and the team did a great job replacing our screens at the house and for a good price. Not only did he do the screens but as I was loading things in my vehicle, Matt stopped what he was doing and offered to help me out. We really enjoyed having Quillco work on our home.

WORST decision I have ever made was to use Quillco to "fix" my glass room roof leak. John came out and said it was a simple fix. He charged me $300 to repair the weather stripping. A few days later, it rains and the roof is still leaking. I call him and he's baffled. He comes back out to fix the faulty repair. A few weeks later, it rains and the… roof is pouring in water. He will not return my calls or texts. He was supposed to come out a 3rd time, since the work is under warranty, yet has disappeared. He's a scammer and is incapable of properly fixing roof leaks in a glass 'Florida' room
