Sunset Septic Tank Company, Inc. was founded in 1941 by Joe & Dorothy Harwood. At that time they started pumping septic tanks, building septic tanks, drain tile, and many other pre-cast concrete items. Joe also did concrete flat work and redi-mix concrete. After World War II there was a great building boom for the soldiers coming home from the war.
