Hired them to move a 2 bedroom house to a new house 8 minutes away. They "worked" for 7.5 hours and charged $1,216. Here's where I get annoyed, I now have to hire someone else to move my dressers upstairs as they couldn't do it. 7.5 hours, over $1200 and now I have to move dressers upstairs. The work would've been done quicker and actually completed if it was done myself with friends and family. They told me that they may not be able to move mattresses up stairs and I informed them, if they can't, I will. To top all of this off, one man had an unsecured handgun tucked in his waistband. Parma Movers did a fantastic job moving my parents. They were respectful and listened to their concerns. The crew that was sent made moving look easy, and we all know that it is not. They were quick but careful, and never stopped. Parma Movers moved my parents into their house in 1978, and my parents were adamant that no one but Parma Movers were going to move them out. We hired Parma Movers for a recent move due to them being family owned. We were initially quoted 5 hours for our 3 bedroom apartment with 3 bed sets, a couch, a fridge, and a single car garage with misc items. This seemed reasonable as it took 2 hours to move into the apartment on our own. All furniture was already disassembled and ready and items were boxed. Loose items we put in our vehicles to move ourselves. Boxes were marked with rooms and piled together.

Tried to book an expensive furniture hoisting service, to move a sofa in through a 2nd floor townhome balcony. Basically, while trying to coordinate I asked if someone could just come out and take a look to see if the job was feasible prior to giving them $650.00 which they said they would require regardless if the job was able to be done or not, which they promptly declined and then forwent the job. Very frustrating experience.

PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEW! 1.) Lincoln Moving & Storage uses other companies such as Parma Movers for residential and you are not actually being moved by Lincoln Moving & Storage. 2.) There is very little to no protection of floors, stairs, etc. from damage. The move was done on 2 rainy days and the carpets had to be cleaned at both homes due to carpet wet stains and dirt. 3.) The moving guys worked extremely hard, however there was no real concern for placement and damage. 4.) MOST IMPORTANTLY, pay attention to the details as it pertains to WHAT IF YOU HAVE damages. My relative had hired them a year before.
They were very nice when scheduling for my move.
The men who came were on time, polite, respectful careful with everything.
Everything was wrapped and covered with blankets.
The move went great to and from our location.
