Be aware that this company does not honor their guarantee. I received a competitive quote from a kind salesperson for replacing some siding (which they did an adequate job with) and painting (also good).
I also received a written promise that they could stop a seasonal frost/condensation water issue that was happening in the ceiling of my kitchen—by replacing a lot of additional siding, flashing and frost guard. Months later it was apparent the leak problem was not solved. (I sent videos of the leak happening.) They sent someone out to look, and it turns out they misdiagnosed the problem. The

I utilized John McCarver for roof tear off, attic baffles, sofet vents, skylight replacement, new roof, gutters and entryway siding installation. They were an amazingly responsive and professional team from start to finish. Everything was done to the highest level of craftsmanship and detail and I couldn't be happier with the results. I look forward to working with them when its time to replace all the siding on the house. Great team worth every penny.

I had a small siding repair job to get done and was really happy with my experience with these guys. Bob was great at providing an accurate estimate and scheduling. Niki communicated whenever there was an update. Mike was really great as he obtained the materials same day and was back at my house the next morning. They did a great job on the small job so I will be calling them back in the future for any job, big or small.

We used McCarter to install baffles and vents in our attic, and to install a new sliding glass door. Their production team was very professional and helped us figure out the best path forward for our house and budget. Empty promises and unprofessional!
I called this company for a small project (gas fireplace pop out), I needed them to replace wood siding with HardiePlank siding. Their salesman, Joe D., showed up. I told Joe that it was a rush job since I had another project coming up soon and this needed to be done before. Joe committed to "move mountains" to get it done. I was sent a quote and I agreed to it via email. Then all of a sudden Joe says that their production team doesn't have the color I need in stock and he'll see when he can get it in stock to get an updated schedule. Okay, no problem. Right

With Michael as Production Manager, Steve and his crew stripped not just one, but two layers of siding and replaced them with beautiful James Hardie fiber cement lap siding, along with staggered shake and window trim. New gutters were also installed, though by a different crew. Most importantly, the house looks fabulous. All workmanship and attention to detail were top-notch, and any concerns were addressed professionally and resolved satisfactorily.
Bottom line, if your home is in need of new siding or gutters, I’d highly recommend giving John McCarter Construction a call.

John McCarter Construction performed 3 services for us. They repaired our wood chimney and part of the wood siding of our house where some boards had rotted. The crew who did the work was professional and did an excellent job with the repair. Once it is repainted, I'm sure we won't be able to tell where the new boards were replaced.
The second service was to replace a downspout that was damaged. The crew who did that also did a very good job and did it quickly and left no mess behind.
