Mexican Tiles
Welcome to Mexicantiles.com, a place where handcrafted tile is our specialty. The brightly colored Talavera Mexican tiles and terracotta pavers also called Saltillo floor tiles, often found in stark contrast to white stucco facades; captures one's imagination. If you are looking to add something extra special and unique to a surface such in a kitchen, patio, stairway, or bathroom consider our beautiful and stunning Mexican tiles.

The tiles can also be used on wall commercial applications. Our Mexican tile is handcrafted, glazed, and painted by hand. The whole manufacturing process can take up to two weeks, deepening on weather conditions, since the tiles are sun-air dry. Our Saltillo tiles are also handcrafted following old-world techniques, and they are some of most popular terracotta floor tiles in the United States.
Services
In addition to complying with state and local mandates, here's what we're doing to help protect everyone at our store. We have increased our cleaning and sanitization routines throughout the store, paying extra attention to high traffic areas multiple times per day. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee any package sent back to us without a tracking number.
Talavera ceramic tile is the most extensive and elaborated collection we offer. The tile is 100% handcrafted, hand glazed, and hand painted. It has its origins in 17th century Mexico with the arrival of the Spaniards, who introduced new methods of tile and pottery making; given birth to the name: Talavera tile or pottery.
Our inventory of Mexican tiles is not limited to Talavera tile, we also carry in stock other remarkable tiles. This category showcases one-of-kind beautiful handcrafted Mexican tiles from different regions of Mexico. The tile collections are different from each other because each manufacture utilizes different raw materials and techniques making a unique tile.

They have everything here. Came to get something unique for my courtyard installation. You can get overwhelmed because I wanted it all! The selection is fabulous. You would think coming from Mexico the prices would be more affordable. It adds up. So, sigh didn't get my first choice because it was cost prohibitive but I'm happy with the result. I would come again and recommend.

I fell in Love with Malibu Tiles! I bought a duplex and had a hard time finding gorgeous tiles like The Malibu Name... I ordered one that I Loved, but they only had 24 and I needed 30. The duplex stairs were short six and I waited five weeks to get the 6 tiles, but Alma emailed me a similar color tile and it will work out fine. Thanks Alma...You took the personal time and personal touch to make me happy with my remodel.
Thanks for Excellent Customer Service...

We have gotten tiles from Mexican Tiles for several projects around the house and have always had great service. The staff is so patient and helpful as people (including me) ask for different tiles and patterns trying to decide which colors to go with etc...
They take tiles back without a problem and have the best price I have found in San Diego. I do wish they had longer weekday hours and were open on Saturdays..

I ordered some hand painted Mexican accent tiles on a Thursday and they were delivered the NEXT day. OK, so I only live in OC, but really...who picks, packs and ships on the same day anymore? These guys, that's who. Anyway, I was really pleased with the service and the tiles were well packed and undamaged when they got here, and they were exactly what I ordered (which was 5 different styles).
This saved me from having to either drive around Santa Ana looking for tile (which isn't difficult, but a hassle) or hoofing it down to San Diego. Shipping cost was VERY reasonable.

TERRIBLE customer service. Especially the female who answers the phone. I changed the design of my bathroom to avoid this place.
