It took 9 months for them to come out to make repairs to my home, they left me with damaged property. They are really good at passing the buck, dropping the ball, making excuses, damaging property and doing subpar repairs. I will not use them again and I will not recommend this unprofessional company to anyone.

Eric Ryan, with DEC was recommended to me by a friend who had used them previously. I am so thankful they were, because they were wonderful! Eric came to the house quickly and within the same day had a crew in the house cleaning everything up and starting the drying process. Eric was professional, and extremely helpful dealing with Insurance and helping us file a claim. We were able to get everything covered in our kitchen through our home owners insurance! I highly recommended Eric, and DEC!

I was referred by a friend and am still waiting to get the job done they tore my kitchen apart 2 weeks ago and my phone calls get ignored we called our insurance company and they said they were waiting on D E C when I called our contractor he tells me they are waiting on my insurance company so I'm being lied too by someone I would not recommend these guys too anyone. If you are looking for a great dependable company that is prompt, professional and works in a timely manner as well as very responsive!!! Look no further than DEC Water Restoration! I had water damage at my home last month and I called DEC ! They came out the same day and started the process immediately! I had the honor and privilege of meeting Michael Hoffmann from the Catastrophe Response Team. Beware of this company if they are doing any type of construction work to your home.
The project manager I dealt with was non responsive and seems to tell you only what you want to hear to get you off the phone. He never followed up on any of the work being done. I had to call him to find out why things were not getting done and to complain on how the sub-contractors they use did low quality work and then he would send someone else to try and fix the problem and then the process would start over as every time a sub-contractor working for DEC came out it would cause another problem that would

This company came to my house uninvited by the homeowner. Obviously my plumber called them without my knowledge. I went from having a small leak under my kitchen sink to having my entire kitchen destroyed. DEC ripped out my kitchen cabinets, ripped up the floor, pulled out insulation, and anything else that they thought might be wet. As they were removing the floor, they commented, “oh, the floor was not wet!” They destroyed 70-year-old cabinets in a Historical Home that cannot be rebuilt. We were referred to DEC, and based on the referral and the quick response time we were certain this would be a a great experience. We had water damage that resulted in mold. They quickly came out, the same day and started mold treatment. I was impressed. The second process was replacing the dry wall and replacing carpet, and lastly painting.
Carpet installation was good.
Now...The dry wall is patchy and uneven. The paint job is blotchy and inconsistent. The space was only a media room and a small half bath. The ceiling tile replacement was poorly done.

Long story but they were used to reclaim a room after a pipe burst. They then talked us into using them on our insurance claim. They had us sign something that let them cash the insurance check without us cosigning it. The problem came because they did move out old furniture, rip up carpet and install new flooring, they also ripped out carpet on stairs, supplied carpet and installed carpet on the stairs but we bought and supplied the flooring for the actual room.
