Mark was responsive, quick, made great suggestions and did everything we could ask for in having our hardwood floors sanded and refinished. Our floors were old and dirty and had been stained multiple times in the past so different rooms had slightly different colors. Mark cleaned them all up and made the front of ur home uniform and gorgeous. We cannot recommend Mark's Master Service highly enough!

Here's an honest and detailed review of Mark's Master Service.
They were fantastic.
This was such a relief, as I've had so many bad experiences with other contractors; after hiring another company to remove asbestos flooring, who broke one of our original light fixtures, left hundreds of staples and nails in our walls from hanging tarps, overcharged us and even shorted us on the refund, I was hesitant about hiring anyone to install new flooring.
However, I saw the other 5 star reviews on yelp, and after contacting Mark's Master Service, I had to leave a voicemail

If you're looking for someone to install or refinish your hardwood floors, you can go ahead and stop here. Honestly. Mark is awesome. He is very responsive, knowledgeable, and really good at what he does. We closed on our house and before moving in we wanted to install hardwood upstairs (three bedrooms) and refinish the downstairs (two rooms), Mark was able to accommodate in the time we needed to get it done no problem. It only took him and his guys three days to rip out the wall to wall carpet in three bedrooms and install hardwood, sand and finish the entire house. It came out beautiful. There

Mark and his crew were hands down the best contractor we've worked with since purchasing our home. He is responsive, fair, kind, shows up when he says he will, and most importantly - does great work at a great price. When we bought our home there was worn out and faded hardwood, mismatched tile, and old carpet. We demo'd the tile and carpet ourselves; and Mark and his guys laid new hardwood, mixed a custom stain color, and finished the floors in about a week. If you are looking for great hardwood floors at a fair price, call Mark. Our renovations included refinishing our hardwood floors as well as a significant amount of patching and re-flooring to be done. Mark was fantastic. He matched our old floors, installed new floors in one room and seamlessly replaced the areas where the floor was missing. He then refinished all 3 areas to a beautiful, gleaming shine. I cannot put into words the quality of my experience with Mark's Master Service.
My wife and I are first-time home owners and decided, regrettably, to refinish the wood floors ourselves. Well, after 20 hours and 4 days of intense manual labor, they came out awful, absolutely horrible. At that point, I felt so physically and emotionally drained, I didn't know where to turn or what to do.
After some google searching, I gave Mark a call. He managed to swing by that very day for a quote. It was clear he was knowledgeable and passionate about wood floors and had the expertise needed to fix the mess

We had our 100 yr old hardwood floors refinished my Mark and team. They are just gorgeous now! He is an amazing craftsman, meticulous about his work, wonderful to deal with. He knows his floors, new and old. He contains all the sawdust to an amazing level, no mess in adjacent areas at all. He's honest, shows up on time, and leaves beautiful floors behind. He gave me a more than fair quote quickly, and was able to start the work a few days later. Mark is a remarkable craftsman and his team is second to none. We purchased an new home on Friday and on Saturday him and his crew were in there to rip out the old carpets and refinish the hardwood floors that were below the carpet. If you are searching for someone to refinish your hardwood floors, your search can end now. Mark is one of the most honest and professional men I have ever had in my home to do work for me. The quality of his work is superb and he made the process of having my floors refinished as easy as possible.

Called Mark to refinish three bedrooms and a hall of white oak that hasn't been finished since it was installed 30 years ago. First thing I picked up on just talking to him on the phone, is his knowledge of the types of houses and floors out there in the region. It showed to me that he has been in the area and in business for many years. Over the phone he gave me a price range that was acceptable to me. He told me the date and time he would be there.
