We worked with New Cali Construction converting our existing garage into an ADU.
We decided to go with New Cali because most of the other contracts explained that building an ADU is easy and they do them all the time. Asaf asked lost of questions and got into the details, he also gave honest feedback which is why we ultimately decided to single bid the project.
The entire team did a great job and showed a lot patience to get things right -- never rushing even as the inspections, permitting and COVID proved challenging. Overall I'm really happy with the quality of work but mostly I appreciated

Asaf, Cesar and the New Cali Construction team were the absolute best! We purchased a home with water/mold damage during the early days of Covid. The New Cali Team was safe and professional. We explored 3-4 other companies and were blown away by Asaf's prompt and thorough communication. New Cali Construction assisted us by replacing our front entry door and repairing the stucco on the outside of our home. Asaf and his team were all very courteous and arrived when they said they would.
We had some difficulty with receiving our new door to be installed but Asaf was cooperative with us on scheduling for the installation. Also, there was some extra smaller unforeseen repairs that Asaf and his team were able to complete for us without any additional charges or delays to the schedule.

I have a retail commercial building that needed a complete remodel (Sandblast, Scratch coat/brown coat, stucco). After meeting and receiving several quotes from many contractors, I decided to give my project to New Cali Construction - Asaf. We recently added a new custom fence in our backyard as well as an entirely new door to our garage. Asaf and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with for this project. His team always had a professional work ethic when at our house.
