Russett Southwest installed a York AC/Furnance into my new home (1995) and I have used them for maintenance/service since then. Finally, my York needed to be retired. I went out for bid for a new replacement unit this year (2021) and got the best overall bid from Russett SW for a new Lennox 2 stage unit. The installers did a great job with the installation...communicated well, on-time, timely and all the work was neat, orderly and throughly checked out before they left. Russet replaced both furnaces and air conditioners recently. I am not happy with how the installation went. Nor do I have confidence that they understand their products.
1. Part of the job entailed insulating the exterior closet where one of the furnaces is. When they arrived, the installers had not been told this. They didn't have any insulation on the truck, but wanted to install the unit anyway. I insisted that they insulate first, so they called the office to send over some insulation. When it arrived, it wasn't enough to cover the walls. Yet again, they just wanted to forge

We replaced our unit based on age. We were very pleased with the installation crew, and also the tech that did the inspection after installation.

These guys KNOW the Lennox has major issues, but are still ok selling them. Our unit is 3 years old (5/21/2018), inherited from the previous owner. I have all the receipts and records. Russett sold, installed, and maintained it. The compressor is LOUD, it developed a crack in the copper line, blew the expansion valve, and apparently now has a leak in the coil. Did I mention that the stand which sits on a pitched roof wasnt even attached to the roof? The only thing that keeps it from sliding down is the ductwork its attached to. As a result, the whole platform shifted down several inches

We were very happy with our new heating and cooling system that was installed almost 2 years ago. We purchased the 2 year season system check up. Last winter after the filter was removed and cleaned, we noticed the air intake was very loud. A technician came in February to check that the filter was reinstalled correctly which he said it was. When we switched to air conditioning in May, the noise was even louder. We requested another check and this time we got Jason. He was very efficient, informative; he thoroughly checked everything and found the filter had not been put back correctly!

My wife and I bought a house in the fall last year and the A/C systems were 18 years old so I contacted Russett and they had a sales representative come and give us a quote while we were still in the inspection period which was a great help to negotiate with. Once we closed and got moved in we hired them to replace both the 4 ton and 2 ton systems, their installers showed up on time, work quickly, were very respectful when they came in to install the new thermostats and left the house cleaner than they found it which is always a bonus when hiring a contractor. We had Russett install two Lennox systems back in March. The installation crews did a great job. Since then, we had a couple of issues that popped up. The latest being a stuck S30 thermostat that happened last night. Called them first thing this morning and Wyatt promptly showed up this afternoon and was thorough in getting the thermostat back up and running. He also made notes and advised on what to do if it happens again. Both Wyatt and the receptionist were very customer focused and cordial. Couldn't be happier. Great job folks!

I called Russett for an AC emergency on Sat, July 11 at 3pm. I was in a complete panic about being without AC on a 112 degree day. They assured me they could get a technician out within an hour. I did not believe it, given my experience with other AC companies. However, an hour later the technician, Ken Beam showed up! He could not have been nicer, more professional & had a great sense of humor about the suffocating heat. Ken let us know pretty quickly that we were dealing with an R22 refrigerant leak. He explained what all that meant and thoroughly discussed our options. 30 minutes later,

We had an estimate on Sunday and by the following Tuesday it was complete. In comparison, other places estimated we would have to wait weeks since it's peak summer season.

We were quite happy with the service that Russett provided. We replaced our A/C System because it was old and inefficient. They ran tests on the house before and after the system was replaced and found that the difference that was made by their improvements to our ventilation and their new system was AMAZING. So not only did the products they installed and updated work super well.... Their customer service was awesome! We would recommend Russett to anyone who needs service, products or advisement on their a/c or heating system.

Terrible. I hired Russett to give a 2nd opinion on a repair required for one of my HEATING units after the first contractor I called gave me a very high quote for repair. The Russett tech told me that the first contractor had totally misdiagnosed the problem and that they could fix it for $800 in labor (the part was under warranty).
After the repair was complete, the tech told us that our A/C was now working fine, but fixing the heat would require another $800 repair.
Three problems:
1) I did not hire them to fix my A/C. My A/C was working fine - at least the last time I'd used

Had a large unit go out on a rental. My property manager gave me a few quotes but I called Russett Southwest to get one to check their prices. After getting a better price and speaking to them I went with Russett Southwest. I am so glad I did. The price, service and education was fantastic. From the day I called to the time the unit was in stalled about 1-week!
CONCLUSION: Call Russett Southwest, ask the tough questions, get a quote and if you decide to go with them I'm Confident your will be Glad You Did!

I used them last april for my annual maintenance service. I will not be using them this year. Why? In the inspection last year they found two parts that they recommended replacing. They gave me the old parts and i looked up and priced. The parts were less than $10 each. They charged me over $112 per part, a marked up of 10 times their cost. I told the individual that served me that this was unreasonable. He had no response to me. I called their supervisor, named Adam and left a message, he never called back.
