Randy's background is in the energy engineering and construction field where he worked for over 40 years in a variety of capacities including design, estimating, supply chain, and project management. In his youth he worked for several local construction companies doing basic construction and learning various trades, he worked on his first roof at the age of 15.
Most hailstorms that hit the Colorado Springs area are pea-sized and aren't severe enough to cause damage. In general, hailstones that are nickel-size and larger will cause damage to a typical roof. When you think of eco-friendly roofing, your first thought is probably solar panels right? Randy is the guy you want to do your roof but only if you want the job done quickly, professionally and with no surprises. Randy was out in front of each and every aspect of the work and paperwork. We never had to ask twice about anything, in fact, we barely had to ask once. He treats you how he would like to be treated. Absolutely give him a chance to bid on your work. You will not regret it.

Finally a contractor with great communication and attention to detail! I first had them do some gutter work on my out-building, and the experience was so good that when my house's roof suffered hail damage, I used them again. Cricket did a wonderful job on our roof and gutters. Communication was good, price was competitive and the work was completed timely. Randy acted as sort of a general contractor, making sure the insurance company had what they needed and the subcontractors showed up when they were supposed to and everything got cleaned up. He even was able to have a downspout re-replaced when I accidentally backed into it. Very satisfied!
