One of the owners (Gary) assisted me this morning. He was friendly and explained the specifics of the mattresses I tested. After my purchase, I asked him for a delivery timeframe. He told me between 2 pm and 5 pm today. The two delivery men arrived at 2:54 and assembled my bed in a timely manner.

The Fenton & surrounding townships are adorable but months of furniture shopping had been discouraging. From aggressive sales staff to the extreme opposite (ignoring customers) to bizarre furniture to curt rudeness, I quit shopping. Last week I noticed Stevens Furniture for the first time and pulled in. WOW. It is a huge store with beautiful contemporary furniture and a selection of both contemporary and traditional bedding. I did not know stores like this existed . As impressed as I was , it was the family that owned the store that left me reflective : low key, courteous, no pressure and EXPERIENCED

Such a pleasant surprise! I was prepared to go to Art Van’s in Flint but I stopped at Steven’s on the way and got a really good price on a sofa/loveseat. They were even able to deliver them to my house the next day with two delivery guys who were awesome. I plan on going back!
