My whirlpool top loader washer stopped working on me so I give this business a call. Nice professional man picked up and I communicated my problem, he asked a few questions and several hours later shows up at my door and fixes the problem. My washer now works, his visit to me was 4/16/18 and response time from initial phone call to a fixed washer was perhaps less than 3 hours.

I would definitely recommend: plus points for fast response time, clear professional communication and very fair reasonable rates.

Andy must've been having a bad day....
We had an appointment with him today, between 1-3pm, he called around 1:45 saying he'd be here in a half hour. He pulls up, gathers his tools and comes into the kitchen. We called him to look at our ice maker that's been acting up...he opens the freezer and see's a little bit of ice, he told me "it's working", I told him that it's not been making ice and it just works when it wants too. He closes the door, gathers his belongings and tells me he can't fix it. I asked him to please call my husband, he wants to talk

I woke up this morning sad because it was my birthday-yep a year older-and because my refrigerator/freezer combo was broken. I called Alan's Appliance Service, left a message and wondered how long I'd have to wait for a return call and if he could even come out today.

Andy, Owner, Technician and Appliance Superhero, called back within minutes and said he could repair my fridge within a few hours. He arrived on time and quickly determined the motherboard needed to be replaced--fridges have motherboards? I authorized the repair and a few minutes later I heard the best, most annoying

Andy is the best! He has great work ethics, he's reliable, he's knowledgeable, he's quick, friendly, respectful and all around great guy!!!. He's so good that my appliances which are all 18 yrs old only needed him a few times. Now it's been over 5 yrs since he last came over to fix something. He's taken care of my washer/dryer and as well as my fridge along with my Thermador stove. My appliances are like many of you, are used daily sometimes 3 or 4 times a day or more. Andy is owner/technician. He does not waste time; he properly diagnoses and performs repair with a friendly disposition. Plus, he speaks English, which helps during initial call-in and symptom descriptions for the layman. This is important as appliance owner doesn't want to waste technicians time and technician arrives prepared with parts needed. in conclusion, the invoice expense is reasonable and appt. time can be estimated and fitted in with other appts. that day.

I continue to use Alan's appliance service. Andy, the owner always provides excellent service.
He is trustworthy and he knows his craft. I just called him and he came and fixed my dishwasher. It's comforting to know that whenever I have an appliance breakdown, I know someone that is dependable that can help me.

I've used Alan for repairs to my clothes washer and dryer many times. He always returns my phone calls and usually is able to respond to my needs and complete the repairs the same day. Alan's charges for repairs are reasonable and fair. He is the only repairman that I will ever use.

Almost got rear ended by one of these drivers. Extremely reckless. Took a picture of the phone number on the back of his work van. As I passed him, the driver held his phone to the window taking pictures of me. Childish.

I bought a dryer from these guys three years ago. I got a second hand dryer and it worked perfectly. I had a flood three weeks ago and it's broken now but I am going to get another one from them. Was really happy with my experience. Now I have to find them because they moved since then.

Having a broken refrigerator is definitely not cool. You need to throw out all your food and live out of a cooler until it can be fixed. Alan's appliance was the first and last call I made.

The whole process was fast and simple. When I called them, they asked me to describe the problem and then told me what the problem might be. He then asked me to give him the year, make, model and serial number. My guess is because he probably wanted to have the parts on hand. He then gave me a rough estimate. However, keep in mind that not everyone can get estimates over the phone. It could depend on

After calling two other appliance repair places that are very highly rated on Yelp, neither of which bothered to return my calls to them, I called Alan's Appliance. Alan's was recommended to me by the front desk of the condo building I live in. I called Alan's yesterday and Andy (the current owner of Alan's - who was his uncle - answered the phone. Andy told me he would show up this morning between 8:30 and 9:30 am and he arrived today at 8:50 am. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the cause of my refrigerator leaking, and also cleaned the condenser, and he charged me the

No, no, no. I don't trust Alan. Paid him $75 for nothing. i.e. options he gave me were to pay him, $250 "in full" upfront for a washing machine part he claimed he needed to order from the "mainland" that would take at least a month to arrive, OR buy a new washer. He was immediately defensive and argumentative with me over the phone when he was explaining his recommendation. As a landlord I could hear him fraternizing with the tenant while I consulted with him over the phone. The whole experience was highly suspicious. Note when he talked with me over the phone prior

Had a hard time finding someone who would service my old washer in my rental townhouse in Kaneohe. I called and Andy answered right away. He scheduled with my tenant and fixed the problem within 24 hours! I thought I was going to have to buy a new washer, but Andy saved the day. I will definitely call him again!

My washer stopped working on Saturday morning, full of clothes and water. Would not go into spin cycle. I called Alan's and he was at my door in less than an hour. Fixed the machine in about 20 minutes and I was back doing laundry.

I called the owner/technician and he said he could come to check on my washer that was making noise, dryer that the timer wasn't seem to be working rights and at the same time if he could check one of the burners on my stove that wasn't working now. He came and stayed a full 30 minutes, said nothing wrong with my dryer, cannot fix my washer to buy a new one. He spent about 10 minutes changing a switch on my stove and charged me $208. He charged $115 for the labor and house call which I thought was excessive for the 30 minutes he was there. Would never use Alan's Appliance Service

The owner/technician of Alan's Appliance Service was prompt, efficient and reasonable in cost. When I called, he said that he was on the road to another job, and came within an hour. He quickly examined my dryer and after taking off the exterior determined that the belt had broken. He needed to obtain the exact size and type elsewhere since he was not carrying what he needed in his truck. He returned in a few hours in plenty of time for me to leave for a 2:30 p.m. appointment that I had cautioned him about. I know that I will call him if other appliances need repair.
