Ok experience - until they lost, then found and damaged, a piece of artwork. Then became unresponsive to a request to reimburse a mere $100 to repair the broken class and damaged matting on the artwork.
They moved our things from NYC to Portland, Oregon.
Delivered to us mid Nov 2020.
Found the art end of Nov on a truck back in New Jersey.
Had to send multiple texts to get them to ship the art to me, which they said they would do mid-December.
I followed up mid-January and Walter said "apologies, will send tomorrow".
Sent to me on Jan 19, 2021 for an estimated delivery Jan 26th.

Currently rating a 1 because like someone else recently said, I feel like this is a huge scam. I only moved 4 hours away yet it's going on almost 2 weeks without my items. My poor child and I have been sleeping on an air mattress in an empty apartment. I'm grateful for a job that understands, but I shouldn't be starting a new job wearing workout clothes because I wasn't notified the delivery would be this long. I contact them almost daily and half the time cannot get a hold of anyone and when I am lucky to actually reach someone, I keep getting a run around. I'd just like

I appreciated that I was able to get ahold of them after after writing my first review and get some answers. Turns out the carrier was a subcontractor of them (so yes, I was double subcontracted) and their truck broke down "somewhere... probably Utah." I am told it is a significant repair and to expect further waits.
While the truck breakdown is not their fault, how I didn't find out about my truck breaking down on Monday(?) until I pestered them on Thursday afternoon is.

We had a wonderful moving experience with VS NY Moving. We moved between two NYC walkups, and the 4 movers did an excellent job moving all our furniture. Everything arrived in perfect condition, including two oversized mirrors and glass cabinets. They were also very efficient. I also really appreciate that they charge hourly, because it's so much easier and less stressful than having to inventory all your stuff before you move. The one thing I'll note is that they are cash only -- this is a bit harder with bank closures due to COVID, but luckily my husband and I were able to get the required

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not trust this company. So much of my stuff got stolen. Thieves. I used them for a long distance move where they put my stuff into storage for weeks and neglected to tell me that. I had to buy a new mattress just to have something to sleep on they were so late. They neglect to pick up any call or respond to my email regarding all of my missing stuff. Someone even went into a closed bag that I had and stole $40 worth of change I had hidden in a jar. They blatantly went through my things and stole from me.

Used VS NY moving to do long distance move from nyc to Pennsylvania. Good price and quality service. Team did an excellent job and went above and beyond to see everything through to the finish. Garry and Sam just helped us move from a basement apartment to a second floor apartment. They somehow managed to get our giant sectional couch in and out with no problems. Everything arrived in perfect condition and they worked fast and efficiently. Great price for the hard work they put in. We never would have been able to do this without them. Recommended by a friend who used them a few years ago, company had a different name but it's the same people. They arrived exactly when they said they would and got right to work. They moved quickly even though I have a small second floor walk up. All my stuff was safely secured in the truck, plenty of straps, blankets, and even a few boxes if I needed. Price was very reasonable, minimum time is 3 hours I believe. But they finished within that time and even helped me load stuff into my car. 3 guys came and worked very fast. They fit everything in my storage unit, the way I wanted it

I have moved a few times in the last few years. I have to say that Vitali and Victor are very polite, smart and handled my items as if theirs. They did good wrapping, protection and loaded the items to their truck in nice order.
Almost no breaks. I just wonder how they can handle such hard job with a smile all the time.
It does help that they have the right tools for the job. Some of my items were not possible to disassemble and therefore are really heavy
