I would highly recommend Gus and his crew. They helped me with a long distance move, providing warehouse space for deliveries while I wasn't there. Then they went out of their way to deliver my items on a Sunday, when they don't usually work. Showed up smiling & went the extra mile to help unload and set up all my furniture. Super great!! Very nice to work with a small kind and caring business.

I had never thought about going the custom furniture route, but am happy I did.
Gus made easy and kept me Informed every step of the way in reference to updates on when my bedroom would be arriving, and when it did, it was exactly as presented in the catalog pics.
I absolutely loved the experience and will never shop for furniture from a conventional store.

I recently ordered a Murphy cabinet from Z Modern Furniture, purchased it over the phone, directly from Gus. He was able to get it delivered the next day. Unfortunately, it was damaged and did not close properly. I contacted Gus, he was very professional, and asked that I send some pictures of the damage. After receiving the pictures, he scheduled delivery of a new unit, and had his delivery staff verify that unit was 100% before they left. Top notch customer service, will shop again from Z & Gus!

Gus was incredible to work with from the beginning of the project and throughout the entire project to completion. We are designers based in Toronto, Canada and it was crucial that we had someone who was highly organized and detailed especially as we were working from out of town, making the logistics a bit more complicated. We shipped and stored furniture for a complete home (roughly 9,000 sq feet) with Z-Furniture Warehouse for probably just over a year. I would never buy from Z Modern Furniture Store again! You get what you pay for & in our case, we got a piece %#&%#! Furniture from this place. After a year of using it, everything started to break apart and sofa springs are pocking our rears everywhere we seat. If you think about it, paying almost $1800 for this piece of #%@! is far from getting a good deal!

We received a delivery of office furniture today. Our office is on the second floor of a walkup building. Your three men were EXCELLENT in their service -- very courteous, taking extra care in carrying up the pieces and carefully setting them down in order to avoid nicking or scratching the pieces. I cannot say enough good things about these fine young men. I even asked for business cards for any future referrals! Please recognize them for their hard work.

1. You order two pieces of furniture and are told it will be delivered within two weeks and they charge your credit card for the whole amount.
2. One piece arrives within two weeks and you are told other piece will be arriving soon. Then you wait couple of months for this other piece to arrive and they never update you as to what is happening. Finally you realize that it has been a long time you better follow up with what is happening and you are told " oh our manufacturer

I've been dealing with Z Modern Furniture for years. My latest purchase was a bar made by Pulaski Furniture and it is very nice and well built. I get compliments on it all the time. The price was reasonable and delivery and setup was very efficient. See Gus and he'll take care of you. Highly recommended.

Lots of luck to you if you order anything from them. Horrible customer service. Bought 2 of the same sofas from them and one of them broke less than 8 months after purchase. Sent multiple emails to Gus (owner) and called daily for a month and he has never once gotten back to me. When I finally did get him on the phone he refused to help -said there was nothing he could do because they do not offer any warranties on the items. He said the warranties come thru the manufacturers and they weren't doing anything either.

Loved this place. I found exact couch that I wanted that perfectly fits my living room. Whole process was easy and super fast. I was in and out of the store in 15 -20 min. with delivery date scheduled in 2 days. What amazed me the most is that delivery was actually on time and the guy( I believe his name is Baba) was super friendly and time efficient. He assembled the couch and put it exactly where I wanted it. Super hassle free! I definitely will be shopping here again.

Came on a Sunday and I was the only person. Saw two guys at the computer. One guy did ask if I need anything, told them I was just browsing and went back to his computer screen. The stuff there is modern but not reasonably priced. There is probably room for negotiation. Just not enough inventory to display like Marlo or IKEA.

RUN. RUN AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I don't even know where to begin. Two months ago I called to order a bed they had online but not in their store and was told they would call me when it shipped from their warehouse. I called them back once a week for 5 weeks before I was told it would be delivered that Friday. That Friday they called and admitted the bed was out of stock in their warehouses because of an "inventory error."
At that point I was a little upset, but not one star review upset - I called Sleepy's that day and had the exact same bed delivered and assembled for 25

Excellent in store experience. We first met Kyle and were impressed with his professionalism and the sofas he directed us to. We went back several days later to order and were taken care of by the owner. We purchased 2 sofas and, as promised, they were delivered within 1 week. The quality of the furniture is excellent; store service terrific; delivery men clean and professional and on time. I highly recommend this store.

My husband is set on having an orange couch. This is not an easy find. He was browsing online and saw that Z Furniture had a nice orange couch with storage under the cushions, and a matching ottoman. We decided to look at their Alexandria location to see if we could sit on said couch and assess it.
Google maps tells you this place is in the industrial park across the street; it took driving around the parking lots for awhile to realize we weren't even in the right block of buildings. It's just off 395, which is convenient, in an area that is completely furniture and home remodeling related
