JGB was hired to do the water damage cleanup as well as the remodel for my 3-bedroom home in Costa Mesa. I am giving them 3 stars at this time, but that may go up or down, depending on how they do with my remodel as they have only done the water damage, mold and flooring removal to date. As far as the water damage and mold removal, they did a good job, however it took a long time for them to complete each task. The only issues were communication with Kenny, (he rarely got back to me and complained when I called) and that the team was usually late for set appointments. They would give me a 2-hour

I can't say enough good things about JGB restoration. We have an older home and a 50+ year old cast iron drain pipe cracked but because it was under the stairs, we didn't know where the water was coming from at first. This means that even after having a couple of plumbers come out to our house by the time we isolated it to the drain it had been weeks and it was really bad. JGB sent someone out in a few hours and because we asked him to give us an approximate cost (we weren't sure we were going to use insurance) which he did, and he got to work right away. After a flood under the kitchen sink our State Farm Agent gave us JGB's number to call for a clean up. We could not be happier, they have been great from the first "hello", in fact we are going to use them for the whole process, rebuild also. I have used JGB twice and they have always been polite, professional, careful, on time and on top of everything. We had two separate leaks that destroyed areas of the house and at such stressful times it was good to know I could trust them to handle things. Outstanding experience!!! Honest, responsive, and understanding. In an emergency situation where most restoration companies can take advantage of you, we immediately felt that JGB was on our side. Amazing service! The entire team was on board with helping me with my leaking water heater. At first I thought I needed to replace the entire heater, but Sean contacted me the same day and came out right away with the drying/heating machines and located the problem.
Turns out it was just a couple of old pipes that needed replacing, so they recommended a great plumbing company to help take care of the issue.
After a few more days of drying, Mike came out to handle the removal of the damaged drywall to see how bad the damage was. Because of Sean's quick response, the damage was mostly cosmetic

Needed a company to assess smoke damage in my house after the fires. My insurance company suggested this company and after speaking with Domonique, they were able to send out a technician the next day. Sean was on-time and very professional when he arrived. He did an assessment and provided a recommendation that solved my issues 100% without breaking the bank. Really great customer service! We had noticed water coming from our bath tub and onto the floor when we used it. Not knowing what to do or where to start, we found JGB Restoration on yelp. The office staff were very supportive and informative when we called. They instantly helped us by giving us options for plumber they recommended. Chris was professional and diligent when assisting us with our leak. We were able to get if fixed before it got worse. I can't say enough good things about this company. We've used them 3 times within 1 year for various things. First off, we had an insane water leak (water was POURING out of our fridge, literally inches on the floor), very late at night (around 11pm). We called JGB and they first calmly talked us through what do to in that moment, which was so nice because when you're panicking you sort of go blank. We are very disappointed about how this company was not upfront about the cost of what minimal job they did. I was told that I would not be charged for the equiptment that they brought and said that they had to leave it at my house, running for a couple of days. (Which, by the way, did not do anything for our situation) This company is a total rip off and I would stay completely clear of using them in any way! If your Home-owners company says that they are going to send them out to you to fix a problem, because that is who your Home owners company contracts with, you need to let them know that

We woke up on July 5th to water leaking from our water heater (located out side our brick fireplace). Our den was flooded. The pipe on the top of the water heater had a small pin hole leak. My mom had a roof leak that ended up going through her ceiling. I called JGB and was immediately impressed with the woman I spoke with Dominique; she answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. When Luciano showed up to address the saturated ceiling I was so happy because he was so polite and very respectful of my mom's house. In less than an hour, Christofer was over my house to check the leak. He was very knowledgeable, had good equipment to find moisture in the wall, was upfront and helpful. He was also very patient while I dealt with my HOA, who was responsible for the leak, and giving me the runaround. They were prompt and hard professional doing demolition and dry out the mold and doing a great job

The owner, Chris has experience in the insurance industry which was incredibly helpful when I had a flood impacting my whole first floor.
