Whatever you do...avoid these rip off artists. They required $375 to come give us an "estimate"...sent a guy and a kid here for 15 minutes and we explained what we wanted. Never heard another thing from them...never answered our questions. Refused to refund our money. This business is a TOTAL SCAM!!!

We hired Aaron to come out and inspect a solar system before we bought a house, he said everything was in great shape. Months later as we learn more about the system we find its *not* in great shape. The batteries are 10-years old and almost dead, and the solar panels were from the 1990's and barely produce. Had he given us an accurate picture of the system and the upgrades it needs we would have made a different offer on the house. This cost us $15-20k as we now need to replace our batteries and add panels.

There are much better companies out there. Communication has been horrible throughout the process with no notifications regarding postponements and cancelations to meetings and install dates. They attempted to use insufficient sized wiring per a third party licensed electrician. The electrician was successfully able to convince them to use proper wire and advised that it costs more, hence their reluctance. I made the mistake of paying before the job was complete. Now I have a system which is not fully installed and they will not return calls and texts. Stay away!

Extremely pleased with this company. A close friend recommended them to me, and I am so happy I took his advice. The overall process took less time than I anticipated, and the service from start to finish was smooth and friendly. I called many companies to come give quotes for my house in the East Bay. All the other companies had extra fees and surcharges, but PlanitSolar kept everything easy and made the process understandable and easy for me during this big decision. After months of research and gathering data and estimates from 4 different solar companies, my household finally went green with Planit Solar. We had Sierra Solar install a very nice 22-panel solar array on our home over a decade ago, it might be 12 or 13 years now. If memory serves, at the time their business was named "Plan It Solar," a very endearing tongue-in-cheek play on "Planet Solar."

We have had our solar system, installed by Plan It Solar 10 years ago. We were so very pleased with their service on instillation. Arron was wonderful to work with then and now. My reason for writing this review is whenever I've had a question or concern Arron has been there. Kevin is a great service specialist. Willing to help and listen to concerns.
