We specialize in custom homes, remodels, and renovations. JM Lyons Construction has worked as a Prime Contractor, and a subcontractor on multiple State and Federal Government Contracts. This memorandum provides guidance to assist agencies in preparing their strategies to implement the Order.
Among other things, the Order requires each agency to: (1) develop a strategy to significantly increase its contracting and subcontracting with small businesses owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans; (2) designate a senior-level official to be responsible for developing and implementing the agency's strategy; and (3) report its progress annually to the Small Business Administration (SBA).

JM Lyons was started in 1999. Martin Lyons has over 40 years of construction experience. JM Lyons employs approximately 16 people and has always been a small, locally owned, family business. We received our Certification as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned business in 2013. We have always conducted business by the same values learned in the military; Honesty, integrity, determination and personal service.

Contacted this business for remodeling and had several quotes done during this same timeframe. Part of doing business with almost any construction company is they provide free estimates. John showed up at my house almost an hour late and didn’t say a word. Next, we proceeded to walk around my home as we discussed the remodel... immediately I noticed the quote was different from competitors. John wasn’t taking notes, measurements, and after being at my property for about 15 minutes began trying to talk me out of the remodel.
