Great place to buy a Honda. Very happy about my purchase. I wasn't sure about whether I wanted a Civic or an Accord, and which model in each family. I was able to work with the sales associate, Luis
Suarez, who was very knowledgeable, listened to what I wanted, and wasn't pushy at all. I had a few options and ultimately went with the Silver Accord Sport. Luis was true professional, trustworthy salesman, and he and his manager, Gio made the process very easy. In the end I drove out of the lot with the car I wanted and feel really great about it.

I'm done with Honda, and particularly this dealership and service department. My 4th time leasing with Honda but 2nd time leasing with this dealership. I'm not particularly fond of the service department and my sales rep there because they are great at bullshitting you and making you feel like what you're experiencing with your car isn't happening. Don't even get me started on how many times I had to confirm my email address when I first tried scheduling my appointment. For example, I told them yahoo.com, but apparently I had a gmail account, so I was never receiving email

Scheduled an appointment to see and drive a certified preowned car. I left all the info about the car I was interested in (VIN, stock number, and description) and this info was confirmed back to me.

Between the day I made the appointment, to the day of the appointment, I received 4 emails, 3 calls, and 4 text messages making sure I was coming. When I get to the dealership, however, I was greeted with 'who are you?' And 'oh, the salesman you made the appointment with isn't here today.'
Not the end of the world, but the experience degrades mightily from there...

The staff was extremely unprofessional, cursing and using the n word while a majority of them were not black. I had complained and shortly after the same exact language and dialogue was used again. A majority of them were huddled up conversing all day as if they could not find anything else to do. I had a very negative experience here.

Route 22 Honda is spamming you with marketing email and will not honor you request to stop the marketing email. This

I submitted a form on their website to ask information about a car. I provided my email address to them and that's it.

I now receive marketing emails from Router 22 Honda CONTINUOUSLY and I was unable to unsubscribe.

I reached out to them directly and they IGNORED my request. The folks I contacted:

My experience with Route 22 Honda was excellent!! I went through the pre-approval process on their website through Capitol One. I was pre-approved and emailed a document with the information. I called the dealership the next day, got an appointment for 45 minutes from my call and went in. Ryan was my sales associate. I had anticipated this process to be extremely long but it wasn't. Ryan took care of all of the paperwork process except financing. The time with Ryan took about 90 minutes including the test drive. Then it was time for financing. This was the only drawback to the whole process

Route 22 Honda is by far the worse dealer ship I've ever been to!!!!! From the Head Manager Howard Newsman. Down To the Service manager & their advisors, Peter & Paul! I dropped my Car off last year for a oil change my 2015 Honda Civic in which they didn't put my oil cap back on the right way which caused my engine to blow. In which my car NEVER drove the same I then had no choice but to buy another car... In which I still took my 2020 Honda to get serviced which was the WRONG IDEA because i took It for my axle and when they returned it my whole engine shield fell from the bottom

I called yesterday at 1:30 to make an appt for a test drive today at 11. Trying to avoid the typical used car bull**** , I called again at 10 to confirm that the car was available. I told them I didn't want to waste my time or toll $. Yes, Krystal told me, we're all ready for you. Were they ready for me? No. Was the car available? No. Apparently sometime yesterday a 4 year old Honda Certified car needed service NOW. Did they call me? No. Have they tried to call and explain or apologize since I walked out? No.
The slogan of this place is Kiss the Bull Goodbye. Are f'n kidding me?

If you are buying a car, ask for Rolando. He is amazing and helped me and gave me the best experience at Honda Dealership in Hillside, NJ. He didn't pressure me into any decision and gave me multiple selections of cars in my price range. I ended up getting the 2020 Black Honda Accord sport 2.0. It drives so smooth and super fast too. But no seriously ask for Rolando. Nice guy and very personable. He will get you what you want. Say less ;)

Prices online aren't reflective of actual asking prices. The sales manager used high-pressure tactics over the phone, trying to bully me into accepting a price more than 1K higher than quoted online, saying that he's "just trying to help the community out during this time."

The worst part is that they "couldn't find" the deposit I made online to reserve the vehicle. I had to escalate to PayPal (who processed the transaction). Still waiting to hear back from PayPal.
