Had the pleasure of working with Matthew Harriman and his team on 4 separate properties. Can't say enough about their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction! They are the only team I have worked with who has consistently hit their schedule. In fact, we are going to have them design a project on a property in another state! Very happy with the team and their approach!

Timeline Design's motto is "Promises made, Promises kept!", which is hilarious, considering that every promise that they made was broken. I contracted them because I was under a tight deadline and they promise a delivery date in the first week of August. After the deposit, the delivery date was magically pushed for week of August 17th, and they blamed me for it (they had to make changes to the order because the first measurements they took were wrong!). I asked them repeatedly if any changes would affect the delivery date. They told me no, as long as I give the deposit check. Fast

The overview. . . they do excellent work. They are a bit pricier than i had originally planned, but my pricing ideas about remods was off, and based on how things came out, i am glad i went with them. If you are looking to cut corners or low ball, they are the wrong choice. If you just want the basics at a low price, that is not them. They can do high end (Saratoga), but they are flexible, so if you want to do mid-range (me on Milpitas), that is okay too.

I highly recommend Timeline.
We used them to design our kitchen cabinets for a remodel over 10 years ago and the cabinets are in great shape. Plus, you can't beat their customer service. We've had a couple of hinges wear out and they simply replaced them...without a charge.
Recently, one of the drawers would not close completely and I sent an email with pictures to them to see if they had any suggestions. That same day I received a email back saying they would look into it. A couple of days later, Chris came out to our house and adjusted the drawer. While he was here he also

Timeline design & Matthew Harrigan are the best! We have now used them for two separate remodels, and would not consider using anyone else!
After living in our home in Monte Sereno for about 6 years, and being serious foodies, we took the plunge and decided to remodel the kitchen. My wife also wanted a make-over of the laundry room. We interviewed three highly recommended firms, but none of them really seemed to pay attention to what my wife really wanted, producing same-old design plans. Luckily, we heard about Timeline from a friend, and Boy! What a difference!

We hired Timeline Designs to do a significant remodel of our home that included the kitchen, family room, 2.5 baths, and master B/R. Before choosing TLD, we did a lot of research, interviewing many architects and builders. Matthew and the team at Timeline do a great job from start to finish. They held our hands (our first remodel) through the whole process from the design to picking out cabinets/tile/windows/paints to building around us and our busy lives. They made the process as great as the results.
Matthew has built a business where they really do care about the customer first. He still calls us - a year after we finished - to makes sure everything is okay.
