Each home has raised heal trusses to provide room for adequate attic insulation. Each new home is HERS rated by a third party company to ensure that it meets the energy efficiency goals we have set.

Todd and Rick are the 4th generation of Maddens to continue in the home building / real estate business. Between the brothers, they have built over 500 homes in central Iowa. Together they strive to keep Madden Construction/Realty one of the top new construction companies in central Iowa. They've accomplished this by staying involved in every aspect of the homes construction.

Using Madden Construction for building our 1st home was a great choice! They allowed us to pick a floor plan/style of home and be involved in various decisions with the building process. They were able to change the layout of the master bath to allow his and her sinks which was important for us. This was our 1st home and we were very happy with the building process and quality of the home. The builder (Todd) was responsive to our questions and concerns and always kept us in the loop with where we were at throughout the process.

I live next door to a house being built. The guys working on the house have parked inches from my driveway for the past week. They can simply pull to the other side of my driveway where nobody parks but they refuse to. Another neighbor of mine parks in the street and today an employee is literally inches from his truck. This is ridiculous. Show… some respect to the people who already own homes in the neighborhood. Madden himself was even parked inches from my driveway the other afternoon. Not everybody works 9-5. I am not asking for too much. Just some respect.

Not good to build a home and start off by having all your crews leaving garbage all over the street, blocking driveways. constantly having to go ask people not to park in front of our driveways daily since this build started. crews are very rude and have cursed out numerous neighbors for having to move there equipment and trucks for the residence that actually live on the street. have no respect or care for anyone around in the neighboring houses!!!!

They watch every board go up. many other builders in town are new to the trade, and push things off to the next guy. madden construction has over 75 years plus experience 5 generations of hand built homes.
